The official launch of the Annual Health Bulletin 2022 at the RDHS Gampaha, took place on January 16, 2024, at the RDHS Gampaha auditorium. Dr. Indika Wanninayaka (Regional Director of Health Services - Gampaha), Dr. Chandana Murage (Deputy Regional Director of Health Services - Gampaha), Dr. Unpuli Perera (Consultant Community Physician), and Dr. Ramya Hettiarachchi (Consultant Community Physician) attended for the event.

The ceremony witnessed the active participation of the focal points from all technical and non-technical units, alongside the dedicated staff members of the RDHS office in Gampaha. This collaborative effort showcased the commitment of the healthcare community in Gampaha towards the dissemination of crucial health information.

Dr. Indika Wanninayaka - Regional Director of Health Services, extends his gratitude to all those who contributed to publishing the Annual Health Bulletin 2022.

The official launch ceremony of the OPD module of the 'HHIMS' Electronic Health Information Management System at Base Hospital Mirigama took place on the 1st of November 2023.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Imesh Prathapasinghe (Deputy Provincial Director of Health Services - Western Province) and Dr. Indika Wanninayaka (Regional Director of Health Services -Gampaha) as the chief guests. Dr. Buddhika Ariyarathna (Consultant Health Informatician - Ministry of Health) participated for the event as the representative of the Director of Health Information.

Dr. Himali Abeygunasekara (Director - DGH Gampaha) Dr. Anuradha Jayathilaka (Consultant Health Informatician – PDHS office Western Province) Dr. Maleesha Mallawarachchi (Medical Superintendent -Base Hospital Mirigama) and all the consultants of Base Hospital Mirigama attended the event as distinguished guests, marking a momentous occasion in the advancement of Digital Health Services in Gampaha District.

ගම්පහ ප්‍රාදේශීය සෞඛ්‍ය සේවා අධ්‍යක්ෂ කාර්යාලයේ මාතෘ සහ ළමා සෞඛ්‍ය ඒකකය මගින් කැලණිය අධ්‍යාපන කලාපයේ පාසල් 60 ක නියෝජ්‍ය විදුහල්පතිවරුන් සහ ගුරුවරුන් සඳහා සංවිධානය කල "යෞවන පාසල් දරුවන්ගේ මනෝ සාමාජීය යහපැවැත්ම " වැඩසටහන සැප්තැම්බර් මස 26 සහ 27 දෙදින පුරා කඩවත බැප්ටිස්ට් විද්‍යාලයීය ශ්‍රාවණාගාරයේදී ඉතා සාර්ථක අන්දමින් පැවැත්විණි.

A Safeguarding training by Mrs. Tasha Matthews, safeguarding advisor from United Kingdom was held in the office of the Regional Director of Health Services on 25th of September 2023. Topic of the training is ‘‘Importance of safeguarding and safeguarding training’’
This program has Organized by Epidemiology unit regarding capacity building program in relation to Leprosy control activities. All the MOH /AMOH, SPHI, PHNS, SPHM, RSHNO PHI and all focal points in RDHS has participated in this programme.

ගම්පහ ප්‍රාදේශීය සෞඛ්‍ය සේවා අධ්‍යක්ෂ කාර්යාලයේ වසංගතවේද අංශය විසින් ලාදුරු මර්දන ව්‍යාපාරය සම්බන්ධ කරගනිමින් සංවිධානය කරන ලද ස්වේච්ඡා පුහුණු වැඩසටහනක් 2023.08.28 දින වැල්ලවීදිය මාතෘ හා ළමා සායන පරිශ්‍රයේදී පැවැත්විණි.

ගම්පහ ප්‍රාදේශීය සෞඛ්‍ය සේවා අධ්‍යක්ෂ කාර්යාලයේ සෞඛ්‍ය අධ්‍යාපන ඒකකය මගින් දොම්පෙ ගිරිදර පවුල් සෞඛ්‍ය සේවා නිලධාරි කොට්ටාශයේ වැඩිහිටි ප්‍රජාව වෙනුවෙන් සංවිධානය කරන ලද "ජීවිතයේ සතුට සොයාගමු" වැඩසටහන 2023.07.13 දින ඉතා සාර්ථක අන්දමින් පැවැත්විණි. ගිරිදර පවුල් සෞඛ්‍ය සේවා නිලධාරි කොට්ටාශයේ සතුටු ගම්මාන තුනක් පිහිටුවීම ද මෙහිදී සිදුවිය. මේ සඳහා සම්පත් දායකත්වය සෞඛ්‍ය අධ්‍යාපන නිලධාරි විජය ජයකොඩි මහතාගෙනි.
