We officially launched MamaKit in November.

Within 2 months:
✔ 150+ mothers supported
✔ 61 MamaKits donated at JFK
✔ Outreach at multiple clinics
✔ Maternal education sessions conducted

But the reality is heartbreaking.

Mothers still arrive at clinics without:
– Baby clothes
– Hygiene supplies
– Safe delivery essentials

This holiday season, we are standing with mothers who are preparing to give life with little or nothing.

So far, DelMai MamaKit has served over 100 mothers and their babies,women who could not afford the basic items needed for safe delivery and newborn care. For many of them, a MamaKit made the difference between fear and preparedness, between worry and dignity.

As we move through the rest of December, our goal is to reach 150 mothers before the end of the month.

Each Mama & Baby Kit costs just $20 USD and includes essential items such as:
• Baby clothes, blanket, socks & hats
• Maternal pads & hygiene supplies
• Chloride, alcohol & basic delivery items
• Baby wipes, tissues, soap, and more

These are not luxury items. They are necessary for childbirth and early newborn care.

We are calling on:

We are proud to share that through the generous support of the Breaking Circles organization, 61 Mama & Baby Kits were purchased and donated to mothers at the JFK Hospital, Monrovia.

This donation directly supported pregnant women and new mothers who often arrive at the hospital with little or no resources. For many of them, a MamaKit is not just a bag, it is essential preparation for safe delivery and newborn care.

Each Mama & Baby Kit is thoughtfully packed to support both mother and child and includes:
• Baby blanket
• Baby clothes, socks, hats , towel & bib
• Maternal pads
• Baby wipes & tissues
• Chloride & rubbing alcohol
• Soap and hygiene essentials
• And other critical delivery items

Each kit is designed to restore dignity, readiness, and peace of mind for mothers during one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

So far, over 100 mothers and babies have been served, and we remain committed to reaching even more families,especially those who cannot afford these basic but life-saving items.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Breaking Circles for believing in community-led solutions and partnering with us to improve maternal and newborn care in Liberia.

DelMai MamaKit at Soniwien Community Clinic 🌸✨

Today, our team had the opportunity to visit the Soniwien Community Clinic and engage with expectant mothers during their prenatal session.

We spent time:
• Sharing why birth preparedness is important
• Discussing the value of having a MamaKit ready
• Listening to their needs and questions
• Learning what matters most to them for a safe delivery

We also connected with the maternity supervisor, Miss Weddeh, who shared helpful insights on how we can continue supporting mothers with affordable and accessible MamaKits.

Soniwien is a vibrant community, though faced with many challenges and disadvantaged youths. Our visit reinforced why accessible maternal-care support is so important. This engagement is part of our ongoing commitment to strengthen community relationships and promote safe motherhood in under-served areas.
