On May 28, 2025 we took a power step towards menstrual equity by donating Sanitary Pads & hygiene kits to the “Group of 77 Orphanage Home , and Newport Junior High School at Newport Street.
One Girl, One Kit Drive 2.0 give us the opportunity to educate and donate period Kit to the “Group of 77 Orphanage”. This session was outstanding, inclusive and fill of fun; having the disable community telling their story relating to menstrual health, and mothers promising to have an open discussion with their girls children.
At the Newport Junior High School, we donated period kit to over Thirty (30) young girls. Elaborated on menstrual education, practical tips, hygienic practices, overcoming stigmatization and being more confidence with their bleed and worth.
🩸Because every girl and woman deserves to manage her period with dignity, safety, and confidence. No shame, No stigma and No barriers.
This donation is a meaningful reminder that periods are powerful, natural, and nothing to be hidden. Let’s continue to educate, empower, and uplift one another because menstrual health is a human right.
We will like to appreciate our National and International donators and supporters for their tireless efforts towards period care. With great gratitude, we want to extend heartfelt thanks to ActionAid Liberia for their donation of pads through the Young Feminist Movement (YFM)
🩸We believe that together we can create a Period Friendly World.
