The entire Concern Youth family stands in awe and pride as Student Nightingale Bemah has just achieved what many only dream of — she has successfully conducted 8 unassisted deliveries, breaking and setting a new record previously held by Student Felecia Tesshea, who conducted 7 unassisted deliveries in 2023! 🏆✨

This isn’t just an accomplishment — it’s a legacy in motion. Nightingale has redefined what it means to be a dedicated student, showing that with grit, skill, and determination, there are no limits to what one can achieve. 🌠

Through long nights, clinical challenges, and countless moments that tested her resolve, she stood strong. She pushed beyond fear, embraced every challenge, and proved that excellence is born from persistence. 💪🔥

Her story is a shining example that dreams don’t work unless you do — and Nightingale has worked tirelessly, passionately, and fearlessly to reach this historic milestone. 🩺👩🏽‍⚕️

Our very own Nightingale Bemah has successfully completed six (6) unassisted deliveries during her clinical affiliation — placing her second on the all-time record list, just one short of alumnae Felecia Tesshea’s remarkable record of seven (7), set back in 2023. 👏🏾

Today our Freshman students carried out a full practical session in Infection Prevention and Control (IPC). The focus was on building the basic skills every health care provider must have before entering the clinical setting.

Students practiced proper hand hygiene, the correct way of putting on and removing both examination and surgical gloves, as well as how to wear masks and aprons to protect themselves and others. They also learned how to prepare 0.5% and 0.05% chlorine solutions used for disinfection and how to set up a sterile field to maintain aseptic conditions during procedures.

These activities are essential for patient safety and are part of the foundation of health care training. At Concern Youth School of Health Sciences, we ensure that our students gain not only the knowledge but also the hands-on experience needed to function effectively in the health system.

📢 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

Today marks a historic milestone for Concern Youth School of Health Sciences (CYSH) as we proudly confirm the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Censil University.

This partnership opens the door for our students to seamlessly continue their education at Censil University in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in the following fields:
✅ Physician Assistant
✅ Pharmacy
✅ Public Health
✅ Laboratory Technology

The signing ceremony was graced by the leadership of both institutions:

✍️ Mr. Edwin P. Kalama, President of Censil University, signed on behalf of Censil.

✍️ Mr. Reggie S. Feahn, Director of Concern Youth School of Health Sciences, signed on behalf of CYSH.

Thanks to Dr. Alex G. Korkolea Vice President for Academic affairs and Vera Saye VPS for witnessing the agreement.
