The other day this little frog hopped onto my pant leg & listened while I gently talked to it, observing aloud what I noticed about it (it's colors, the racing stripes along its sides, the way it breathed), all while using a caring, present tone (this also works with squirrels, lizards, birds, & people, of course).

Others with whom I was with tried to get it to hop onto them, but it turned away, not quite convinced it was a good idea. It had a tiny piece of mulch on its face and with reassurance, I asked it permission to allow me to help remove this & it let me. Would the mulch have gone away on its own? Yes, the next time it hopped in the little lake there, but that's not the point here.

The energy we bring when dealing with others big or small lets others know we care and that it's safe to trust us with helping them when needed.

The more we have done our work to be truly at peace, the more those around us sense this safety and allow us to help them to be at peace too.

From the mountains, I write you this reflection: Know that regardless of your situation, when there is something causing internal distress due to a persistent problem, something needs to change. The sooner you choose to get help when you're not sure how to solve it yourself, the better.

Life is to be enjoyed with people that bring you peace and joy. If that's not happening, something needs to change.

✨️Here's to your joy!! By doing more of what makes you happy and being with people who are good for your soul, you win. Be selective.

Lead with your breath when you work (mentally, physically, or emotionally), in through the nose, nice, & slow, & deep... out through the mouth & repeat. Using this as your engine or motor helps you have enough calm to make the best choice of what to say or do resulting in the best outcome under the circumstance. By leading with your breath your body and mind are able to perceive more & choose the ultimate outcome.

When you are particular about your time and energy, you open doors and invite in more of what you want or choose to close doors to that which does not align with your mission or way. Every choice has a consequence, so be selective.

Believe in yourself. I believe in you.

Lead with your breath... in through the nose... out through the mouth. Inhale nice and slow and deep into the tension, anger, fear, pain... mouth closed... exhale it away... sending it away through the breath... out the mouth and repeat. This will help you remain calm enough to make the best choice with your words or actions. Try it now... it's a great first little thing you can do that will help.
