Jamie Davis Primosch is a Gainesville native who completed her Physician Associate training at Emory University in 2009. After living in Atlanta, Georgia, she decided to return to her roots in Gainesville and has been serving the medical needs of our community for the past 10 years. Jamie attended the University of Florida where she received her undergraduate degree as well as a Master’s degree in Public Health. After her undergraduate degree she spent more than 2 years abroad serving in the United States Peace Corps. Jamie has a true passion for mental health and psychiatry and has trained over the past several years under experienced adult and pediatric psychiatrists. She enjoys staying up-to-date with the latest psychiatric recommendations and studies by attending medical conferences and engaging in self-study. In her practice she utilizes evidence-based medicine to guide and educate her patients and treatments, and believes strongly in the practitioner-patient relationship to choose treatments that will achieve positive outcomes. In providing treatment, Jamie takes time to get to know her patients and has a comprehensive approach with her patients, ensuring a personalized treatment plan tailored to the individual. She rejects one-size-fits-all solutions, and instead allows a full personal understanding to inform the best path for treatment. In Jamie’s free time you will find her on the tennis court, enjoying the outdoor nature and beauty of Alachua County, attending Gator sporting events, and most often being a cheerleader for her 9 and 12 years olds. Jamie is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Florida, New York, and Pennsylvania.
