I don't know who needs to hear this... but when someone definitively asks you not to do something (out of respect for them), that doesn't mean not doing it just in front of them... it means don't do it period. If you "slip up" in front of them it means you're doing it behind their back.

I've always found it creepy when dudes sell cars or expensive things with pictures of their half-naked wives, girlfriends, and even daughters 🤮 in them. Have some respect and decency and protect the women in your lives instead of pimping them out for sales and prestige. This is another reason we need more traditional values returned in our society.

One of my gifts/flaws is I give too many chances and benefit of the doubt... more than most. I just don't always talk about it.

So if you see me not giving chances or benefit of the doubt...Rest assured there's good reasons.

I am very observant. Though I often don't show it. I see and hear more than most. For those I have given up on, I have heard things most don't hear, known things most don't understand, and seen things most don't believe.

So do not be quick to judge your empath friends for not being more forgiving, more understanding, or more tolerant. They have forgiven, understood, and tolerated far more than you'll ever know.

And when they are done, you should be too. When they warn you, you should listen.
