Water benefits health:

Some studies suggest drinking more water may help with headaches, migraines, diabetes, obesity and low blood pressure, but more research is needed.

Lack of water can lead to dehydration. Dehydration happens when you don’t take in as much water as your body puts out. Then, the body may not have enough water to work as it should. Even mild dehydration can make you feel as if you have less energy and make it harder to think clearly. Dehydration also may play a role in obesity and diabetes.

🌿 So how much water do you need?

Some studies suggest that the average healthy adult will get enough water if they take in about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) to 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of total fluid. That includes fluids from all sources including drinking water. How much fluid a body needs depends on several things, including body type, activity level, and environment.

Most importantly, don’t rely on general advice from ChatGPT - everyone is unique in genetics, psychology, and physiology. You need a personalized approach evaluated by specialists who consider your blood type, physical abilities, and physiology.

Do you wish to be understood, not judged, and accepted?

After experiencing a miscarriage, I felt vulnerable and isolated, faced a mix of emotions: shame, blame, feelings that my body had failed me, in a sense that I could not carry a child. The experience left me reluctant to open up to friends, family.. partly out of fear of being judged.

It is important to recognize that those who have not experienced miscarriage may lack the perspective and ability to provide the same level of support. Building a supportive community with women who share similar experiences can be invaluable.

Let us work together to establish a compassionate community. JOIN us 💚

Miscarriage isolation is a profound, common experience of loneliness, shame, or detachment following pregnancy loss, often worsened by a lack of societal acknowledgment.

It stems from grief not being recognized, leading to social withdrawal, relationship strain, and “disenfranchised grief”. Connecting with support groups, specialized therapy, or acknowledging the loss helps bridge this gap.

Still Mom was created to fill this gap between isolation and willingness to reconnect again within and with others. We are here to support your journey alongside. Join Us 💚

After a miscarriage, we recommend focusing on eating small, frequent, and balanced meals—roughly 5–6 times per day—rather than three large, heavy meals, to manage energy levels and support healing. Regular meals with adequate protein (like eggs, nuts, or meat) are crucial for tissue repair and restoring iron lost during bleeding.

Key Nutritional Considerations for Recovery:
🌿 Protein & Iron: Include a palm-sized portion of protein (lean meats, tofu, beans) with each meal to help mend tissues.
🌿 Iron + Vitamin C: Pair iron-rich foods (spinach, red meat, lentils) with vitamin C (citrus fruits, bell peppers) to maximize nutrient absorption.
🌿 Hydration: Drink plenty of fluids, aiming for 1500ml–2000ml (approx. 6–8 glasses) of water daily.
🌿 Nutrient-Dense Foods: Focus on whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and calcium-rich foods (yogurt, kale) to boost immunity.

Not wanting s*x after a miscarriage is a very common, normal response to emotional trauma and physical healing, often described as a temporary form of as*xuality caused by trauma.

It is essential to allow yourself time to grieve and heal physically, as intimacy can feel difficult or traumatic during this period.

💚 At Still-mom, we support a holistic healing approach that cares for your body, mind, and spirit. We believe this comprehensive method is essential due to the complexity of human nature.

Micronutrients are essential vitamins and minerals required by the body in small quantities for critical functions like energy production, immune health, and growth.

Thus, deficiencies can lead to severe issues like anemia, cognitive impairment, and weak immunity, particularly affecting children and pregnant women. Key nutrients include Vitamin A, C, D, E, K, B vitamins, and minerals like iron, zinc, and iodine.

Moreover, Vitamin D is essential for maintaining strong bones by facilitating calcium and phosphorus absorption, reducing the risk of osteoporosis and fractures. It also boosts immune system function, reduces inflammation, supports muscle strength, and plays a role in mood regulation and heart health.
