If it feels hard for you to get on your mat lately, you're not alone. ❤️
This is a something I do when I can't wrap my mind around doing hardly anything on my yoga mat...
❤️ Put on a song that makes you feel good, or inspired, or like moving.
❤️ Roll out your mat, towel, etc (optional)
❤️ Wiggle / move / breathe however the heck you want to, try not to overthink it
❤️ That's it! Keep it grooving when the next song comes on, or check it off your list for the day- it's your choice!
Sometimes I end up dancing a lot, or doing sun salutations, or sitting and watching my breath... But letting go of my expectations for practice and instead focusing on just *getting there* makes all of the difference. It may not look at all like a classic asana practice some days, but if I notice my breath and check-in with my body, I'm going to call it a win.
