We’re thrilled to announce that UAC, the largest astrology conference in the world, is back and we’re already working on speaker selection! Join us in celebrating the vibrant world of astrology at the downtown "Magnificent Mile" Marriott Hotel in Chicago, September 3–9, 2026.
Are you a potential New Speaker? If so, we warmly invite you to apply. Below is an overview of our speaker selection process, developed by our sponsoring organizations – NCGR, ISAR, OPA, AFA, with associate sponsors ACVA & AYA.
1) Top Draw Speakers
Speakers with high attendance at UAC2018 or sponsoring organizational conferences from 2018–2023, as well as UAC leaders, have already been selected.
2) Veteran Speakers
Speakers who did not qualify for the Top Draw Category but spoke at any UAC, or any major organizational in-person conference between 2018 - 2023, are considered veteran speakers.
If you believe you qualify as a veteran speaker but didn’t receive an email, please contact Laura Nalbandian, Conference Coordinator, for assistance - uac.astrologyconf@gmail.com.
3) New Speakers
If you’ve never spoken at a UAC or any of the sponsoring organizations’ in-person conferences (2018–2023), you’re considered a New Speaker.
Application Requirements: Provide a bio, high-resolution photo, two topic titles with descriptions, and a demo link (video or audio) showcasing your speaking skills by January 31, 2025.
Selection Process:
Applications will be reviewed by a Listening Committee.
Top scorers will advance to the New Speaker Selection Committee, who will finalize the lecture line-up.
Even if you’ve spoken at other non-sponsoring org or private conferences (e.g., NORWAC), you’re still considered a new speaker for UAC.
4) Vedic Speakers
If your topic is Vedic in nature, your application will be reviewed by a specialized Vedic Speaker Committee.
Balance and Diversity
UAC2026 is committed to diversity, aiming for at least 20% new speakers and 20% international speakers. Tracks are no longer capped at a fixed number of talks, allowing for greater flexibility in selecting lecture topics based on merit and demand.
When crafting your application, focus on topics you’re genuinely passionate about and want to share with the astrological community. UAC is the world’s largest professional astrology conference, and we’re excited to elevate the conversation together.
Alternate Opportunities
If you’re not selected by June 2025, you may still be considered as an alternate speaker. In 2018, many alternates joined the roster due to speaker cancellations. However, our intention is to choose speakers by June 10 and have contracts signed by June 25, 2025.
