Have you ever felt uncomfortable, judged or envied around other women? Have you felt defensive and put up walls around yourself with other women in your community, with family or female colleagues?

You are not alone.

Due to painful life situations and challenges around womanhood we experience growing up we naturally put up walls. It is a natural way to take care of ourselves. Yet, the price that we often pay for this is loneliness, distrust, and a lack of fulfilling authentic friendship. We don't realize that the path towards peaceful, fun and loving connection with other women lies through opening up and showing our authenticity.

What is your experience with women? We'd love to hear from you!

~ Do you tend to compare yourself to other women?
~ Do you compete for recognition?
~ Can you easily connect, trust and open up to women?

These are all powerful questions for contemplation.

It is sometimes the truth that women may try to avoid, but there is no way towards fully blooming in one's femininity without at the same time fully accepting all other women.
Having No resistance towards other women.

Accepting other women equals facing one's own shadow, and who would willingly choose to do that?!

It is in woman's nature to be the connector, to weave harmony through relationships. And yet we also carry a natural yearning for freedom to be ourselves, to express ourselves authentically, to be seen and experience deep intimacy.

How can we create safety, a sense of mutual respect and deep connection in any relationship? What is the foundation for reaching deeply fulfilling intimacy and open authentic self-expression?

These questions do not have obvious answers, especially that our patterns in communication and relating are most often influenced by the dynamics we inherited from our most immediate environment, as well as past wounds.

The Process of Community Building (by M. Scott Peck) suggests that deeper intimacy and connection stand on a foundation formed by safety, vulnerability, inclusion, full emotional presence, and self-responsibility. Building deeper connections is a process of self-awareness, because it requires uncovering inner obstacles, which prevent us from being authentic.
It is not necessarily easy, but so worth it, and one always feels so much happier and lighter on the other side.

Our next event of Community Building for women is planned for April 25-27.
I am so excited to start offering this work to women groups!

I'm feeling moved and excited - like a child waiting to open Christmas gifts...

This week I am planting a very special seed on my native land - the very first Community Building Workshop (the method of Scott Peck) will take place in Latvia.

It's been a long road getting to this point and required much dedication, perseverance and faith.

Now this baby is born, and I wish that it brings many special gifts to the local communities - the gifts of peace-making, belonging, deep authentic connection, inclusion, and meeting one another in our fundamental humanity.

Warmer days are here, and I could sometimes feel like I already need to have my year figured out. In reality, it's only now that nature starts to awaken, the buds are about to burst open, and the seeds haven't yet sprouted... There is no need to rush. It takes time to come out of winter.

Big word .
Have you ever wondered what it means to you?
What does it mean to relate and connect from a place of sovereignty?

The way we grow up, we're often conditioned to either “care” or “perform” in a relationship.
For example, we can put ourselves too much into the position of a caregiver, offering our support and trying to satisfy the needs of the other person, often at the expense of our own well-being.

On the other hand, we often also learn that we need to present ourselves in a certain way, to create an image or to wear a mask - all of that in order to be accepted, to be received, or achieve a certain outcome.

What would happen if I took my mask off?
What would happen if I put my own experience first? My own desires? My own needs?

It takes great courage not to succumb to the expectations of the outside world.
And yet we have a choice.
We have a choice to question the norms. It is possible to observe and become aware of our own conditioning. And to slowly move towards relating with others as equals.

This year again, we will explore how to take masks off and develop authentic connections from a place of sovereignty, through the process of Community Building.

We learn to relate from our core and the deeper truth, experientially building connections of trust and respect.
We learn about the inner obstacles towards being authentic.
