On this day 7 years later…
Thank you to those that supported Ukraine by attending this art therapy workshop and your openness to create. Thank you to Kyiv Collage Collective, CUTOUT Festival, and founder, Annete for this collaboration. You are amazing human beings.
It was beautiful to witness community and connection come together through creativity. I look forward to sharing some of the art from the workshop soon!
💛🇺🇦🙏🏻
New art therapy material and work updates coming soon!
#Tbt to when I still had time to make art.
Hope everyone is coping with the world in the healthiest way they can right now. 💛
Ready for tomorrow’s Cut & Paste Open Studio! Presented by Paris Collage Collective, hosted by me. ✂️
For those of you that were interested to join but made the waitlist (we had a lot of sign ups this month), don’t worry! Keep following here for future updates on my art therapy groups and workshops.
Of note: September and October are crazy busy for me as I relocate from Rīga to NYC, but new opportunities to experience art therapy as a community online will happen in November/December.
Hello! A little introduction for those new here...
I’m Julia, an Art Therapist from New York, now based between the U.S and Riga, Latvia. I like to help people explore their inner and outer world through creativity.
Over the last year in light of the pandemic, I started an online practice to provide art therapy + therapeutic arts to individuals around the world via workshops, private sessions, groups, and community art projects.
I also make collage art, which is how my Instagram started out long ago, by simply posting my collages and getting involved in the collage community here. Now it’s a space for art therapy, mental health info, and updates on my work in addition to collage art (which I call my response art, because it is integrated into my professional identity as a therapist aka I make art to process the therapy work I do.)
Thankful for this community curious about art therapy, connecting over collage, and following my art therapist life updates! Hope to meet some of you soon via a group, workshop, or private session. 🙌🏻
