The very first lecture will be delivered by none other than Dr. Arturo S. De La Peña - an esteemed surgeon and trailblazer in his own right. This year, the 24th Chancellor Alfredo T. Ramirez Memorial Lecture will be delivered by Dr. Nelson D. Cabaluna, former Chair of the Department of Surgery and a respected surgeon in the field of oncology. In his lecture, “Challenges in Breast Cancer Treatment,” Dr. Cabaluna will share his decades-long experience in the realm of breast cancer care, sharing insights, lessons, and personal reflections from his years of dedicated service.
His message will surely inspire our next generation of surgeons to advance the cancer care in the Philippines.
