In compliance with Department Memorandum No. 2025-0318 dated July 10, 2025, or the "Revised Guidelines on the Implementation of School-Based Immunization (SBI) Program", the Department of Health Center for Health Development - Northern Mindanao (DOH-CHD-NM) gathers the stakeholders from the provinces of Camiguin and Bukidnon - DepEd & DOH Doctors/Municipal Health Officers, Nurses/NIP Coordinators, Health Education and Promotion Officers (HEPOs) and Development Management Officers (DMOs) at DeLuxe Hotel, CdOC for the orientation of the RE-IMPLEMENTATION OF SCHOOL-BASED IMMUNIZATION (SBI) PROGRAM STARTING AUGUST TO SEPTEMBER 2025.

This initiative forms part of our collective effort to safeguard the health and well-being of our children and the broader school community of Camiguin Island.

The Adolescent Health and Development Program (AHDP) of the Department of Health (DOH) aims to improve the health status of adolescents and enable them to fully enjoy their right to health. A key tool of the program is the Adolescent Job Aid (AJA). This used to train health service providers to strengthen their ability to respond to adolescents more effectively and with greater sensitivity. The AJA 2.0 Skills Enhancement Training was successfully conducted on July 23-25,2025 at Villa Paraiso Apartelle & Resort, Mambajao, Camiguin.
