Sustainable livestock for the future
MILS Animal Health is a business unit of Myanmar Innovative Life Sciences dedicated to bring safety and sustainability to livestock industry.
80 % of globally produced antibiotics are used in livestock industry especially in the sector of poultry, swine and aquaculture. Abusing antibiotics sub-therapeutically to promote growth, drug-resistant strains of bacteria emerged and WHO estimate that by 2050, antibiotic resistance will kill a staggering 10 millions people per year (more than deaths from cancer).
At MILS, we believe we urgently need to change the way we raise our livestock animals safer and more sustainably. Today with our products locally manufactured in Myanmar, livestock farmers in Myanmar can raise their chickens and pigs more sustainably and economically.
Our FDA-approved production plant in Hlaing Thar Yar Industrial district equipped with biosafety class II quality control laboratory makes MILS the only company in Myanmar to use biotechnology to manufacture animal health products such as probiotics.
