The Happy Birthday celebration for Pacific-AA Group employees born between January and June 2025 was held today, 11th August 2025, at the headquarters, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, and branch offices. The event was organized with great excitement and energy. After heartfelt birthday wishes from the Management of Pacific AA Group, the birthday cake cutting ceremony took place, followed by treats such as Mohinga, Coconut noodles, and ice cream. There was also a joyful program of singing songs. We are sharing pictures from this delightful celebration, where all employees celebrated together with happiness.

Pacific-AA Foundation Earthquake Relief Donations
The Pacific-AA Foundation initially allocated 2.5 billion kyats (equivalent to 2500 million kyats) as part of its first-phase support for victims of the recent earthquake. In response to further identified needs, the Foundation has committed an additional 5.5 billion kyats (5500 million kyats) as part of a second-phase initiative.
The Foundation is pleased to announce a total contribution of 8 billion kyats (8000 million kyats) in humanitarian assistance and donations.

The second phase of support comprises the following:
1. Medical Equipment Donation:
A contribution of over 17,034,000 units (17 million) of 1cc syringes under the Nipro brand, valued at 3.79 billion kyats (379 million kyats), donated together with Nipro Corporation, a leading Japanese medical equipment manufacturer. These syringes are highly beneficial for vaccine administration, insulin delivery, cancer treatments, and use in pediatric care.
2. Medical Supply Donations to Public Hospitals:
Delivery of essential medicines valued at 550 million kyats to 13 public hospitals, including:
* Mandalay Teaching Hospital (300 beds)
* Meiktila Public Hospital
* Pyin Oo Lwin Public Hospital
* Kyaukse Public Hospital
* Sagaing Public Hospital
* Naypyidaw Public Hospital (1,000 beds)
* Paunglaung Hospital
* Shwe Kya Pin Hospital
* Dakkhinayone Public Hospital
* Lewe Public Hospital
* Mandalay Public Hospital
* Kandawgyi Hospital
* Mandalay Orthopedic Hospital
These contributions were personally delivered by representatives of the Pacific-AA Foundation.
3. Financial Support for Disaster Relief:
A cash donation of 830 million kyats was made to support rescue operations and the resettlement of earthquake-affected communities in Mandalay Region, Sagaing Region, Naypyidaw, Pyinmana, and Lewe.
The first phase of donations included:
1. Distribution of Medical Supplies:
Delivery of medical supplies and equipment valued at approximately 1.83 billion kyats (183.86 million kyats) to 33 township hospitals across earthquake-affected areas.
2. Support for Employees:
A total of 155.75 million kyats was provided as resettlement support to 53 employees under the Pacific-AA Group.
3. Blood Donation Initiative:
In collaboration with Roche Myanmar, the Foundation organized a blood donation drive involving 192 donors, specifically in aid of earthquake victims. Nutritional support was provided to donors, along with the distribution of iron supplements worth 5 million kyats and a separate cash donation of 5 million kyats to the National Blood Bank.

As of April 12, 2025, the total value of the Foundation's donations amounts to 7.169 billion kyats (7.169 million kyats). The Pacific-AA Foundation is honored to share these charitable contributions in the spirit of compassion and solidarity with all.

🩸🩸A Simple Act of Giving to Support Earthquake Survivors🩸🩸

On the morning of April 6, 2025, a total of 192 dedicated staff members and donors from Pacific AA Foundation and Roche Myanmar came together to donate blood at the National Blood Center, in a united effort to support those affected by the recent earthquake.

We were honored by the presence of Mr. Daniel Derzic, Head of Mission of the Embassy of Switzerland in Myanmar, together with Embassy staff, who joined the donation on their own private initiative. Mr. Derzic also shared a few heartfelt words with attendees.

As part of the initiative, Pacific AA Foundation’s Chairman U Zaw Moe Khine and Vice Chairwoman Dr. Saw Nay Nwe presented a donation of 5 million kyats to Professor Dr. Eh Htoo Phe of the National Blood Center.

Professor Dr. Thida Aung shared the inspiring history of the Blood Bank and expressed her appreciation for the support. Ms. Christina Yong from Roche Myanmar also delivered a warm thank-you speech to all participants.
Each of the 192 blood donors received FEROPAC iron supplements, breakfast, and lunch as a token of gratitude for their selfless act.

✍️The first ceremony was opened with an overview of the Pacific AA Group by Dr. Saw Nay Nwe, Group Vice Chairwoman, and a welcoming address by U Zaw Moe Khaing, Group Chairman. More than 800 employees from all over the country (Yangon, Mandalay, Nay Pyi Taw, Pathein, Pyay, Myeik, Magway, Monywa, Taunggyi, Myitkyina, Dawei, Taungoo, Pyinoolwin, Hinthada, Kyaingtone, Bago, Meikhtila, Pyarpon, Myawaddy) attended the event.

✍️At the ceremony, a total of (141) long-serving employees, categorized into those with over 20 years of service, over 15 years of service, and over 10 years of service, were honored with a total of 179,500,000 kyats in cash rewards.

✍️Outstanding employees were also recognized with awards, including the Best Employee Award, Outstanding Leadership Award, Best Accounting Professional Award, Best Salesperson Award, Best Operations Employee Award, and Special Contribution Awards. A total of (55) outstanding employees received a total of 169,950,000 kyats in cash rewards.

Pacific Medical Industries Ltd (PMI), Myanmar's first private, locally-owned pharmaceutical manufacturing company, held an event titled “Transform Your Vision into Reality by Becoming a Brand Owner” on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the LOTTE HOTEL (Main Ballroom).

During the event, U Zaw Moe Khine, the Founder and Group Chairman of PMI, introduced the purpose of the gathering and highlighted PMI’s achievements as Myanmar’s pioneering private pharmaceutical factory meeting international standards. He emphasized that establishing such a facility has significantly advanced the domestic pharmaceutical sector and improved public healthcare. PMI factory also alleviates challenges for those struggling to access or import the latest medicines, offering solutions and opportunities for entrepreneurs interested in producing their own branded pharmaceuticals.

Following this, Mr. Devan Pillay, CEO of PMI, outlined the factory’s objectives and various pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors. Additionally, Mr. Anan Anpruang, General Manager of Business Development and Dr. Kyaw Thiha, International Business Development Manager discussed PMI’s production capabilities, the types and quantities of medicines manufactured and the step-by-step process for entrepreneurs interested in private label manufacturing. Lastly, Dr. Saw Nay Nwe, Co-founder and Group Vice Chairman provided insights into Pacific-AA Group’s current CSR initiatives.

The event attracted a diverse audience including PMI’s partner companies, major pharmaceutical distributors, pharmacy owners, professors and specialists, hospital and clinic owners, Attendees actively engaged in discussions and enjoyed performances by renowned singers Htun Aeindra Bo, Wai La, and Ni Ni Khin Zaw. Pacific AA Group Employees’ Thadingyut Homage Ceremony

✍️On October 14, 2024, employees of Pacific AA Group paid homage for Thadingyut to Group CEO and Managing Director U Zaw Moe Khine, Group Deputy Managing Director Dr. Saw Nay Nwe, and various other elders and senior members, in keeping with a respected Burmese custom. This homage ceremony was conducted virtually via Zoom.

✍️The Group Chairman and Deputy Managing Director of Pacific AA Group also shared words of goodwill with the staff and provided a Thadingyut allowance totaling above 103 million kyats for a total of above 950 employees, which was distributed among them.
