"Screen and Treat" is a recommendation for effective cervical cancer screening highlighted in new WHO guidelines. If detected, it means more time and less incident treatment. It is not about the number of detected cases, it is not about being sent for other tests, it is not about being sent to an overburdened tumor center, it is not about not knowing where to treat, it is about treating the detected cases on the spot if they are detected early without losing control. It is recommended that human-centered comprehensive tumor screening should be done like this. WHO also recommends that 90% of early detection be treated (90/70/9️⃣0️⃣), and our country will join it.
Last week, "Test For Life" screened 120 women in Noyonsum, Umungovi province, and 70 women in Dalanzadgad, 17 cases of cervical precursor disease in various stages were detected, and 8 people received the latest treatment recommended by WHO. Other early-onset cases were monitored. One case is going to the center because it needs a specific diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
Noyon and Gurvan Tes village doctors worked together and learned to work on new advanced technology of artificial intelligence for the detection of cervical cancer. 👏
