Key West: Our Final Port of Call ⚓️🌴

​So much to see, so little time! We tried to squeeze it all in—the fort, the beach, the legendary cemetery, the Little White House, the Hemingway House—but the clock definitely won out.

It’s official: we’ll have to come back!

We made our way from Amber Cove into the city and wandered through Pink Street and Umbrella Street—so colorful, vibrant, and full of life.
No excursion needed… just hopped in a taxi and spent the day exploring!

These are the kind of days I love most—sunshine, new places, and a little adventure around every corner ❤️

From the serene Botanical Gardens to the steep trek up to The Cross, Roseau tells its story of natural beauty and grit. Seeing the panoramic views of the town makes you realize how resilient this island is.

The town itself tells a story of the incredible determination of the people of this island. Looking at the homes and the churches—still bearing the scars of Hurricanes David (1979) and Maria (2017)—is a heavy but moving reminder of what this community has weathered. History is etched into every stone here.

And the black sand meeting the turquoise waters of the Caribbean is absolutely amazing. ❤️

We spent such a dreamy day wandering the streets of Fort-de-France! 🇫🇷✨

​From the stunning architecture of the cathedral to the charming boutiques, we soaked up every bit of that French Caribbean soul. Knowing how to speak French would have truly come in handy at this Port 🤣 Thankfully everyone was super friendly ... And patient!

​Watching the city lights fade away from the deck was the perfect end to the day. Merci, Martinique, for a beautiful day! 🌙🚢

We had a picturesque start to our day in St. John's, watching a stunning rainbow emerge after some early morning rain as our cruise ship sailed into port. Nature's welcome mat!

​After docking, we embarked on a hike up to the iconic St. John the Divine Cathedral. This cathedral has stood proudly overlooking the city for centuries. While the current Anglican cathedral was built in the mid-19th century (consecrated in 1848), the site itself has been home to religious structures dating all the way back to 1683. The community is working to fully restore this piece of living history ❤️

Next stop Fort-de-France, Martinique 🇫🇷
