🧠 Ischemic Stroke

This type of Stroke is caused by a blockage in the artery that supplies blood to the brain.
The blockage reduces oxygen and blood 🩸 supply to the brain leading to damage or death of brain cells.
If Circulation is not restored quickly ↔️ Brain damage can be permanent.
👩🏼⚕️ Symptoms of Ischemic Stroke.
1. Depends on what region of the brain is affected.
2. Vision Problems, Double Vision, Blindness in one eye.
3. Weakness / Paralysis of the limbs
4. Dizziness Vertigo
5. Confusion
6. Loss of Co ordination
7. Drooping of face on one side.
Once symptoms start, it is crucial to get treatment as quickly as possible.
This makes it less likely that damage becomes permanent.
