Just our business as usual of having fun with the youths in their Easter Club.

May Autism awareness ripple into concrete actions.

Ways to help:

If you have time, we encourage you to spend it getting to know an autistic person.

If you have tangible resources, may you experience the satisfaction of sharing with others that can create mountains from your act of generosity.

If you have none may you find it in your heart to be kind and understanding.

Why do we accompany youths to shop? As it is their right to community access.

With theory done in previous sessions and some revision, the youths came prepared with a shopping list containing one item of produce to practice mathematical skills in real life by weighing, and item from a bakery to communicate with supermarket personnel, scanning aisles for their favourite snack while also getting a personal hygiene item to practice needs Vs wants.

After paying and packing their shopping it was time to enjoy a hearty meal with friends.
