My Journey
About 2 years Ago , I started what I call a healthy lifestyle. See I do not believe in Dieting. I think when you diet and reach your goal, you tend to stop. With a healthy lifestyle you do your own thing every single day for as long as you have to, for yourself to feel better. I started training regularly and eating the usual healthy foods, like veggies, quinoa , small portions of Carbohydrates. It was all going well for me , and honestly i was losing weight, because let’s face it, everyone who has weight to lose, loves getting rid of it. Then I got a bit sick and stopped training , but I still cooked healthy and kept my lifestyle as much as I could. However My weight loss came to halt and I couldn't understand why, until I met a very good Friend of Mine and introduced me to a ketogenic diet.
It was extremely hard for me. It was a godsend that I had this one friend that knew about it and kept pushing me and pushing me to change my habits and trained my body to detoxify from all those years of eating Carbohydrates.
Nowadays I am not on a strict Ketogenic diet anymore, I switched to a low-carb diet, which is the on the same principles. However I have increased my intake from carbs from different sources. The process and explanation is long , and In my opinion it has to be monitored and carefully done. Most Importantly it is not for everyone.
Everyone's’ Body is different and they all react differently. Know your body by trying, However listen carefully to its reaction and move forward with your aims.
