APM-UC is a project funded by Xjenza Malta that focuses on safeguarding the authenticity of Maltese pork meat. Fraudulent labelling of pork meat threatens consumer trust and the reputation of Maltese products known for their high quality. To address this issue, ATR-FTIR spectroscopy and advanced data analysis are being employed to verify the origin of Maltese pork meat.
