Mums seem to always be looking for things to do with their kids. It seems as though there are limited activities specialised for mothers and kids to enjoy, but that’s only until one looks a little harder. Malta has started to open up to more ideas and offers to all generations and all types; one focus of which being mothers with their children. It’s common to hear of a lack of things to do which is perhaps why so many new opportunities have opened up. So what activities are there for mums looking to socialise with other mums and at the same time, form a greater bond with their child? An activity-based club designed to suit mothers and their child formed in 2006 and was put together to give mothers exactly what they need. The aim of the club was to strengthen the bond between mother and child by both enjoying and taking part in the same activities. The club also believes strongly in promoting the socialising aspect, giving mothers a great opportunity to meet new people in similar situations and also bring along their friends and family for activities all can enjoy. The MumsClub organises several events for mothers and babies and the whole family alike. Here are some of the things we organise:
The Eden Cinemas hold Cinemum mornings especially for mothers and their children whereby all can watch a movie that can be enjoyed by kids and mums alike. Mums can meet with friends and enjoy a film while their child plays in the supervised play area. And if you have very young children, there are nappy changers, bottle warmers, high chairs, walkers, bouncers and much more. Free gifts are usually given away making the experience all the more special and stands of baby related goods are on show at each event. Swimming lessons have now been made available. These lessons are held at the indoor pool at Cynergi Health & Fitness Club and are available for kids of all ages above 3. At great prices, these lessons are the ideal way to get children swimming well by summertime. Children Cinema Days: Movie days just for Kids! Children and accompanying adults can watch movies for a fraction of the price with great entertainment throughout the day. These are held at the Eden Cinemas twice a year, once in March and once in September. Becoming a member also gets you in touch with other mummy related activities, events, and products.
