There is a reason why every major personal development framework — from modern neuroscience to the bestselling books of the last decade — keeps arriving at the same conclusions. Because the original answers were already there. Thousands of years ago, Indian philosophy mapped out the four aims of a fulfilling life.
They called it the Purushartha — the things truly worth seeking. Not one aim. Four. Artha — the security and success you build. Your career, your stability, your ambition. Honourable and necessary. K**a — the pleasure and joy that make life worth living. Creativity, beauty, rest, connection. Dharma — living in alignment with your values. Doing what is right, not just what is easy. Moksha — the inner freedom that doesn't depend on external circumstances. Knowing yourself deeply enough that you are not at the mercy of every wave.
Most high-achieving women are very strong in one of these. And quietly wonder why something still feels incomplete. Nothing is wrong with them. They have simply been optimising for one aim out of four.
This framework is one of the tools inside the Conscious Wise Empowered programme — and in my experience, one of the most quietly powerful things a driven woman can sit with.
