I often meet the misconception that to forgive is to forget. Forgiving does not equal to forgetting. To truly forgive someone you must first love yourself more than the hate, anger, or resentment that you feel for who wronged you. To forgive others is a journey where you learn compassion for those who wronged you but mostly compassion for yourself. First become aware of what you're doing to yourself by holding onto these feelings that you carry. Then work on realising those feelings and allow your body and soul to find peace again.

When is it time to say 'enough'? How hard is it to say 'no' for you? Being able to say 'no' and 'enough' does not come easy to everyone. Raising healthy boundaries, and knowing when to stop, or let go of a situation, is something that can be learnt. Start by practicing in small doses. Little noes and little enoughs. Throwback to an original post of a few years ago.
Loss is still a very relevant issue that therapy can help immensely with. We don't need to suffer alone. ❤️🌈

Be it because of loss, trauma, or simply not knowing why, we have all experienced times when we feel empty inside. For some this experience lasts for years, others learn to live with it. Psychotherapy offers a safe, supportive space where we can face this emptiness, and learn to find our missing pieces, or build new ones, so that we can feel whole again 🌈

It takes a whole lot of effort but with the right help and support things can change faster than we realise. ❤️🌈
