🌈 “Have you heard of chakras? They are described as energy centers in the body that influence how we feel physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

There are 7 main chakras, each linked to different areas of life:
✨ Root – grounding & safety
✨ Sacral – creativity & emotions
✨ Solar Plexus – confidence & strength
✨ Heart (Anahata) – love & compassion 💚
✨ Throat – expression & truth
✨ Third Eye – intuition & clarity
✨ Crown – connection & peace

💛 Many people ask me what Anahata means. It is inspired by the Heart Chakra, Anahata in Sanskrit. The heart is where love, compassion, and healing flow. It’s the center that reminds us we are deeply connected to ourselves, to others, and to life itself.

🧘‍♀️ “Did you know your thoughts can affect your body’s health? The mind and body are deeply connected. Stress can show as tension, headaches, or fatigue, while positive, calm thoughts can boost energy and even support immunity. 🌸

Here are 3 simple ways to practice mindful awareness today:

✨ Body Scan – Take 2 minutes, close your eyes, and gently notice where your body feels tense. Breathe into those areas.
✨ Breath Awareness – Place one hand on your chest, one on your belly. Inhale slowly through your nose, exhale through your mouth. Notice your body soften.
✨ Mindful Pause – Next time you feel stressed, stop for 60 seconds. Take a slow breath and simply notice: How does my body feel right now?

💛 Small practices like these bring harmony between mind and body — one breath, one moment at a time.”

Our monthly Recap featuring Shea Butter 💛

This month, we explored the incredible world of Shea Butter, nature’s gift that cares for everyone: children, adults, the elderly, men, women, and even our beloved pets. 🐾💫

From soothing dry skin, scars, and stretch marks, to nourishing hair, calming sunburns, protecting lips, and even creating DIY recipes for balms and butters.

Shea Butter showed us that true care comes from the earth. 🌱

While the beauty and pharmaceutical industries often replace these blessings with chemical substitutes for profit, we choose to reconnect with nature, honoring its purity and wisdom. 💚

✨ Natural care is not a trend, it’s a return to what our ancestors always knew.

DIY Eucalyptus Mint Foot Butter 🦶❄️

You’ll need:

2 tbsp mango butter

1.5 tbsp shea butter

1 tbsp cornstarch or Arrowroot powder (helps absorb greasiness)

4 tbsp safflower oil (or olive oil/sweet almond oil)

½ tsp Vitamin E oil

8–10 drops peppermint essential oil

3–4 drops eucalyptus essential oil

How to make it:

Melt mango butter, shea butter & cornstarch together in a heat-safe bowl (use double boiler or hot water bath).

Remove from heat, then stir in safflower oil, Vitamin E, and essential oils.

Place bowl in an ice bath (bowl of cold water + ice cubes) and stir until mixture thickens.

Pour into a tin/jar & let set for 1–2 hours.

✅ Massage into tired feet at night for cooling relief & soft heels.

DIY Pet Paw Balm 🐾

Your furry friends deserve soft paws too! 🐶🐱

Try this simple DIY balm at home:

👉 Melt together:

2 tbsp shea butter

2 tbsp coconut oil

1 tbsp beeswax

Pour into a small tin or jar and let it set. Apply sparingly to paws after walks or playtime.

💚 A little paw protection, straight from nature.

Anahata Wellbeing by Rita is a place of peace and tranquility away from every day stresses, where you can restore body, mind and soul. Our Salon is located in Haz Zebbug, Malta and is equipped with the latest innovative beauty devices for perfect results.

Having more than 18 years of experience in the Beauty & Wellness field, my aim is to provide a proficient service to all my clients. Treatments carried out at our salon vary from customised facials, I.PL hair removal, Body detox programs, a variety of holistic massages, mindfulness sessions, meditations and much more treatments which work on mind, body and soul.
