✨ Honouring all the little fighters this World Prematurity Day

I feel incredibly privileged to walk alongside premature babies and their families, supporting slow-and-steady growth, tricky feeding journeys, and all the tender, hard-won progress in between.

Their courage, and the trust families place in me, is something I carry with deep gratitude. Celebrating every tiny milestone today! 💜✨

🌍 World Diabetes Day 2025 — “Diabetes and Well-being at Work”

Managing gestational diabetes (GDM) while working can be extra challenging - whether you spend your day in an office, clinic, classroom, or on your feet helping others.
Between meal breaks that slip away, packed schedules, and glucose checks that need planning, it takes preparation and self-kindness to stay on track.

Here are a few small things that can make a big difference:
🥗 Plan ahead — pack balanced meals and snacks with slow-release carbs, lean protein, and fibre to keep glucose steady.
💧 Stay hydrated — keep a water bottle nearby; even mild dehydration can affect blood sugar readings.
⏰ Set reminders — for regular meals, snacks, or glucose checks, especially on busy shifts.
🚶‍♀️ Move when you can — a few minutes of gentle walking or stretching after meals helps your body use glucose more effectively.
🫶 Seek support — talk with your manager or HR if small adjustments (like flexible breaks or fridge access) can help you manage better at work.

This , let’s remember that well-being at work matters; for mums-to-be, colleagues, and every team member balancing health and hustle. 💙
✨ Because when workplaces support well-being, everyone thrives.

It was such a wonderful afternoon with the Cerebral Palsy Family Mauritius community 💚
Thank you for the opportunity to share practical ways nutrition can support comfort, growth & everyday wellbeing for children and adults living with cerebral palsy.
Loved meeting everyone, the thoughtful questions, shared experiences, (and the laughs!) - truly a reminder that small changes can make a big difference 🌿💫

Eat Smart, Play Hard, Think Sharp 🍏⚽🧠

Loved spending yesterday morning with the Year 9 students at Ecole du Centre - what an engaged, curious and thoughtful group!

We explored how the food we choose every day affects our energy, mood, focus, performance and long-term health - especially during the teenage years when the body and brain are growing at lightning speed 💡🌱

A big thank you to Susan and the Health & Sports team for the warm welcome, and to Yannick for the inspiring session on movement, performance training and recovery - our messages tied together beautifully.

Small habits can make a big difference 🤍
Nourish your body. Fuel your mind.
Eat smart, play hard, think sharp ✨

Now this is the kind of change we love 💕

So thrilled to see this initiative 👏

Breastfeeding is such an important part of nurturing both mums and bubs, it deserves to be normalised, supported, and celebrated everywhere.

Bravo to MedActiv.mu for leading the way with this beautiful, welcoming space!

May more stores, malls, and workplaces follow suit, making it easier for mums to feed or pump with comfort and confidence🌸

We are proud to launch our 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮, a serene space created for comfort, privacy and care, where every mom and baby can truly connect.

📍 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮.

🕒 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀:

• Friday & Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

🌸 This October, in honor of the Pink Month, we are reminded of the power of breastfeeding, not only as a beautiful bonding experience but also as a potential way to lower the risk of breast cancer for mothers. Every feed counts, for you and your little one.

So, mothers, next time you are at Tribeca Mall and need a quiet space to feed, just remember that there’s a space here for you and your little one to connect in peace.

🕊️ 15 October I Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day

Today, we pause.
To remember, and to offer a little kindness.

To every parent who has
🌷 lost a baby,
🌷 faced miscarriage or infertility,
🌷 or carries a love that never got to grow,

We see you, we honour your story, and we hold space for you.💜

Some grief lives quietly in the heart, unseen yet deeply felt.

May today remind us to be gentle, with ourselves and with others.
Because even in loss, love remains. 💫

September was all about workplace wellness 💼🥗
I had the privilege of running four nutrition workshops with the wonderful team at Constance Hospitality Management and guiding improvements to their staff café menus.
Workplace wellness and family nutrition go hand in hand. When employees are well-nourished and supported, the benefits extend far beyond the office, into homes and communities. 🌸

As September draws to a close, I want to take a moment to acknowledge Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.🎗️

Nutrition plays a vital role in supporting children and their families through treatment - helping to maintain growth, manage side effects, and preserve strength during some of the toughest times.

To all the children, parents, and caregivers walking this journey -your courage and resilience do not go unnoticed. 💛

Let’s continue to raise awareness and offer support, because no child should face cancer alone. 🌸

🌟 Malnutrition Week ANZ 🌟
This week, countries like Australia, New Zealand and the USA are raising awareness about malnutrition - and it’s not just something that affects adults. Children can be at risk too.

Even if they look well, some kids may not be getting the nutrients they need to grow, play, and thrive.

👀 Signs to watch for:
🍎 Eating less or skipping favourite foods
🛌 Sleeping more than usual
🤒 Getting sick more often or slower to recover
👕 Not growing out of clothes as expected
⚡ Less active, less playful, or low in energy

💛 The good news? With the right support, we can turn things around. If you’ve noticed any of these changes, I’m here to help families make sure their little ones get the nourishment they need to flourish.

📩 Get in touch if you’d like support with your child’s nutrition.

👶 Healthy mums. Healthy babies. Stronger futures. 🌿

Behind every healthy baby is a mum who’s cared for, nourished, and supported. 🫶
With the right nutrients, mums aren’t just creating life — they’re building health that lasts well beyond pregnancy. 🌱

Because when mums thrive, families flourish. 🌸
