Business Mauritius Provident Association (BMPA) designed the Mosanté corporate medical cover to provide companies with an affordable and flexible medical benefits solution that allows their employees and their families access to private healthcare. As a non-profit healthcare provider, we reinvest our profits in the services we provide so that we can continue to support our members in improving their health and well-being. Our medical plan includes, but is not limited to, the following components:

• Inpatient Cover
• Outpatient Cover
• Catastrophe Cover

Our primary mission is to provide our beneficiaries, from babies to seniors, with lifetime healthcare. Mosanté is available to all companies registered under the Laws of Mauritius, subject to certain conditions.

With a determination to support others on the same journey, Gilberte authored her book . MoSanté provided exceptional support in bringing her story to life, reflecting our commitment to empowering members in meaningful ways.

Mosanté: Health Care Scheme

The Business Mauritius Provident Association (Formerly MEFPA) was set up by the MEF in 1982, and aims at providing the Mosante health care scheme to employees of Business Mauritius member enterprises and their dependants. At BMPA, we make it our mission to understand the unique needs of your enterprise and of your employees in the area of health care. Our non-profit association status allows us to focus on our primary mission, which is to provide lifetime healthcare to our beneficiaries from babies to seniors.

We provide Lifetime Care for all our beneficiaries, from babies to seniors with a non-discriminatory pricing scheme. Our non-catastrophe covers have no age limit and will provide you with the same benefits even after retirement, at the same premium, which your enterprise is paying*.

WHAT WE OFFER TO YOU

Mosanté offers an incomparable flexibility in the wide range of schemes and covers available.

Free Mocarte ensures “prise en charge” for clinic expenses related to the admission and payless services for surgical & Medical and Optician benefits.

You can be treated by the doctor of your choice but duly registered with and authorised by the Medical or Dental Council of Mauritius, or a registered optometrist.

We work with all clinics recognised by the ministry of health, Mauritius.

Fast track for reimbursement of claims -Walk-in claim settlement and get refunded within 15 minutes. -Submission of claims via our mobile application.

No waiting period for newborn under the in-patient and out-patient cover.

No waiting period for new employees of existing corporate members (except 9 months for pregnancy related treatment & 3 months under catastrophe cover).

No waiting period on equivalent schemes if you are transferring from a registered health care provider.
