**We live by lifting others 🌷**

Since 2022, my life has been a journey filled with challenges and triumphs, profoundly shaping who I am. Completing my Postgraduate studies in Clinical Neuropsychology at King’s College and receiving the “Woman of Excellence” award were milestones that filled me with immense pride and gratitude. I’ve embarked on a rewarding journey of healing through therapy and have married a wonderful partner who supports me wholeheartedly.

Yet, alongside these joyful accomplishments, I have encountered negativity from some who sought to diminish my efforts. It can be disheartening to face such judgment, and I know many can relate. In these moments, I consciously focus on the uplifting voices of those who genuinely value and believe in me. I remind myself that I am whole, capable, and deserving of love and respect.

To all the incredible women out there, we will always face challenges and naysayers along our paths. Let’s unite, fostering support and understanding as we strive for greatness. Together, we can embody compassion, bravery, and sincerity, lifting each other up every step of the journey. 🌼

Much love to my husband, my parents, my sister, her husband, and their kids 🌷

Thanksgiving dinner and year-end celebrations are often times we look forward to for joy and connection with loved ones. However, these events can sometimes bring unexpected difficulties. Even when surrounded by family and friends, you might feel drained by certain people's energy or find some interactions a bit tough. This can lead to overthinking and strong emotions, or even bring back old memories that are hard to handle.

As the holidays get closer, it’s normal to wonder: will you let these tricky dynamics get in the way of your celebrations this year? Will you allow them to affect how you feel during this festive time?

I’d love for you to join me in a discussion about helpful ways to deal with these challenges. Together, we can find ways to keep your peace and truly enjoy the holiday season. Book your online session today at 52542186.

Navigating depression and other mental health challenges during the festive season can be incredibly difficult. It’s a time that often amplifies feelings of unworthiness, low motivation, poor self-image, and social withdrawal, leaving many feeling persistently low. The weight of these symptoms can feel even heavier during this season, sometimes bringing about feelings of guilt or jealousy. I want to take a moment to reach out to those who are struggling with their mental health during this time. You are not alone, and it's important to remember that your feelings are valid. My thoughts are with you as you cope with these difficult emotions.

**Understanding the Root Cause of Stress**

Stress often comes from how we perceive the world around us, and sometimes that perception is shaped by our past experiences. When we go through negative or traumatic events, they can leave lasting marks on us, changing the way we see and react to things. This change in perspective can lead to various problems, affecting our thoughts, emotions, and even our physical health. For example, when we're stressed, our body may produce more of a hormone called cortisol, which is linked to stress responses.

When this happens, it can create a cycle where stress builds upon itself, making us feel more overwhelmed. To break this cycle and find a sense of balance again, it's important to understand and address what's causing our stress in the first place. Recognizing these deeper issues is a crucial step toward managing stress and improving our overall well-being.

A recent study has shown that the greatest consequence of narcissism is that people who are close to them are mentally and emotionally affected. It can be incredibly easy to fall under the spell a narcissist casts.

Narcissists are master manipulators. They need the people around them to booster their self-esteem and so having control in relationships is important to them. Their attention in relationships is absolutely conditional based upon whether their selfish and insecure needs are met.

The narcissist spell can be pretty seductive initially, but the personal impact can weigh heavy and really hurt us in the long-term.

Victims often suffer from Post-traumatic stress disorder and anxious insecure attachment. Break the silent, what is your story?
