Starting his career as Maintenance Technician in a medical equipment and supplies manufacturing company , Irshaad has developed an extensive knowledge and a crucial set of skills required in the manufacturing process and development of equipment and production lines.

Today at Xtruline , with his solid background in the manufacturing processes, Irshaad can easily identify problems , implement solutions and maintain efficiency to get the work done.

Meet Selvi Chiniah - our QA & Admin Manager

With 15 years of experience in medical device industry, Selvi describes her career pathway 'filled with hard work, perseverance to do better and new learnings'.

Starting her journey at Natec Medical as quality engineer, she had shouldered responsibilities in production , supply chain as well as quality assurance.

And today Selvi is managing the quality team at Xtruline Ltd, whereby together with the team, she has been behind great achievements during the past 2 years such as implementation of mask manufacturing. MIM and ISO 13485 certificates as well.

Our employees are at the heart of our concern!

Since August 2021 we have launched the Free meal program for all Xtruline employees.

A variety and range of menus have been identified for our employees, which caters to their dietary requirements and lifestyle choices . All of this is seamlessly done as our staff can place their orders on our dedicated online platform.

" I feel proud that Xtruline has recognized my technical capabilities and given me the opportunity to work on the machine" - Meet Chandrika Gurbun – our dedicated mask machine operator.

Chandrika’s tasks consist of operating the mask machine ; changing the rolls , verifying the cut size, performing checks on quality of masks and also troubleshooting when there are technical issues.
Attention to details, focus and conscientious are her forte.

Thank you Chandrika for your contribution in achieving Xtruline daily masks production target of 20,000 units.

In regards to the prevailing surge of Covid19 cases in Rodrigues island , Xtruline Ltd has joined hands with Lion's Club to support the local people there to better protect themselves by donating 8000 disposable surgical Xtruline 'Made in Moris' facemask.

It is an honour for our team members Selvi, Neha and Nella to hand over the masks to Lion's Club representatives namely Mr Rolando Bergicourt , 2nd Vice Governor District 417 , Mr. Christian Cherubin, President zone 51, Ms.. Shalonee Gunness, President zone 52 and Dr. Dushyant Purmanan.

Our disposable surgical face mask is now XTRULINE BRANDED.

With this clear product identification, our customers can be reassured that they are using our genuine surgical disposable facemasks which:
- have a Bacterial Filtration Efficiency ≥ 98% (as recommended by ASTM F20101 , a standard testing method to determine the degree of filtration efficiency of medical/surgical mask)
- comply with EN 14693 Type II
- are proudly 'Made In Moris' by dedicated Mauritians for national and international markets

A great big thank you to CDS ( Centre de Solidarite Pour Une Nouvelle Vie) to have given Xtruline Ltd the opportunity, through our donation of 5000 Xtruline disposable surgical facemasks, to support the beneficiaries, staff and volunteers in doing such a noble task safely.

Centre de Solidarité Pour Une Nouvelle Vie (CDS), is a non-profit organisation working in the field of rehabilitation and prevention of substance abusers and caring for their families for the past 33 years.
CDS has various Units namely:
- The Residential Centre, La Communauté Flamboyant, situated at Solitude with an intake capacity of 22 residents,
- Day Care Unit, situated at Rose Hill with an intake capacity of 12 residents.
- Prevention Unit focusing on regular sensitization campaigns among people of all ages around the island.

The services offered at Centre de Solidarité are free of charge. The centre satisfies all the basic needs of the residents, however, the running cost of CDS is quite high and sometimes with little donors, it is not easy to cope with.

Xtruline Disposable surgical facemasks are proudly MADE IN MORIS and comply with EN 14693 Type II standard.

It is an honour for Selvi, our Quality Manager to donate Xtruline surgical masks to Mrs Audrey D’Hotman-Desjardins..
