Profile of Mr. M. Rechad Nazir : M. Rechad Nazir (M.C.Optom) is a registered Optometrist based in Mauritius since 1985. He obtained his qualifications at Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland. Rechad is registered as Optometrist with the Ministry of Health and Quality of Life, and with The General Optical Council of Great Britain. He is a member of the College of Optometrists in UK. He is also a member of the Association of Optometrists of UK. Having over 40 years of experience in the field of Optometry (in both private practice and hospital eye service) , of which 10 years in UK , Rechad has extensive experience in contact lens fitting. Much of his skills were acquired working as a Contact Lens practitioner for Kelvin Lenses Ltd. who was a well-known Contact Lens manufacturer in UK. Rechad was a member of the Rotary Club of Curepipe where he used his expertise to develop a primary school eye screening system with close collaboration of The Ministry of Education and a private company. This screening system is still an ongoing concern.

Profile of Mrs. S.B.Z.Nazir : Mrs. S.B.Z.Nazir is our qualified dispensing optician registered as such with the Ministry of Health and Quality of Life. She obtained her Fellowship of the British Dispensing Optician a qualification awarded by the ABDO College of British Dispensing Opticians, a centre of excellence raising the standards in optical education for the whole profession. ABDO has shown to dedicate in the maintaining a supportive and caring a continuous learning environment for its Fellows.
