Our recent 15-day Umrah journey from July 22nd to August 5th was made so much more comfortable and manageable thanks to the exceptional support from The Travellers Group. From the very first day we informed them that our beloved Maakin is a child with special needs (autism spectrum), their team has gone above and beyond to assist us.We'd like to highlight some of the specific ways they demonstrated their exceptional care:• On our departure day, July 22nd, after completing airport check-in while in Ihram, Maakin wanted to change into his normal clothes until we reached the hotel. The Travellers team understood and immediately accommodated this request.• Knowing that walking could be challenging for him, after every bus journey, they would proactively ask if we needed a wheelchair to go to the Haram and promptly arranged it.• We informed them that coping with large crowds during meal times could be difficult for Maakin. They thoughtfully arranged an option for us to have meals delivered directly to our room.• During bus travels, even when all other pilgrims were disembarking upon reaching a location, if Maakin preferred to sit and needed his own space, they always respected and accommodated this.• Throughout the journey, priority was consistently given to Maakin during flights, airport check-ins, and immigration checkout processes, significantly easing our stress.• Even upon our return to Malé, seeing the long taxi queue at the airport, they ensured priority for Maakin, making our arrival smooth.• Our sincere gratitude goes to the entire management and dedicated team of The Travellers for their unwavering kindness, understanding, and support throughout our sacred journey. Your dedication made a significant difference. Jazākumullah Khairan!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MY SON, I LOOK FORWARD TO ANOTHER YEAR OF DISCOVERY AND ADVENTURE AS YOU START YOUR NEXT ROTATION AROUND THE SUN.
Parents who raise children with special needs have a lot of hopes and dreams for the future.
1. I wish for you to have a great sense of humor. Almost as important – I wish for all those who accompany you on your life’s journey to have a sense of humor too!
2. I wish for you to embrace your spirituality and faith traditions. I wish for you to be embraced and accepted by the people and society.
3. I wish for you to know deeply that everyone is imperfect. You are not less than anyone else. Each person on earth has significant flaws, no matter how perfect they appear.
4. I wish for you to one day succeed without me. I am your parent, coach, and champion right now, but in the future, I wish as much independence as possible for you. As you will most likely outlive me, I view this as one of my most important jobs as a parent.
5. I wish for you to make a positive impact on society. I refuse to believe that your diagnosis will stand in the way of that. Each person, regardless of gifts and abilities, can make a positive impact. I wish for you to be able to see that in others, too.
6. I wish for you to have all the medical support you need to live well and enjoy good health. I wish for wise, caring doctors, nurses, and therapists to help you when you need help.
7. I wish for you to have good friends and that you will be good friends. You know, this is hard for a lot of us, whether we have a diagnosis or not. And yet, the blessings of friendship are endless.
8. I wish for you the strength to ignore society’s measures. Today’s standards constantly change with the wind, and they will continue to do so in the future. Refuse to be measured up by society’s standards.
9. I wish for you to have a never-give-up spirit when you have a worthy goal. Real life is rarely easy for any of us. Everyone experiences failure and heartbreak. Don’t let those things stop you.
10. I wish for you to always know the truth, that your parents love you deeply and are immensely proud of you. If I could start over, I wouldn’t change a thing about you!

Most autistic children will have differences in how they play as compared to neurotypical peers.

As always, differences can range from clearly obvious to subtle and difficult to recognise. Play styles will likely also change naturally as a child ages.

Maakin took a duty with Mama as his Granddad was admitted at Tree Top Hospital ما شاء الله

For time pass he was playing with a puzzle to build his understanding level which is likewise useful for hand and eye coordination.

A great many people feel that only a few hours of weekly therapy sessions and the utilization of meditations are enough for the improvement of mental and social skills in kids on the autism spectrum, yet this is a long way from reality.

A review directed by researchers at the College of Massachusetts found that families who practiced reinforcement of boosts at home, in a family environment with their autistic kids, accomplished a 63% better improvement in their youngsters’ development than families who just had a couple of long periods of weekly therapy sessions...
