🎨✨ Art & Crafts Workshops ✨🌸
As part of Course 101: Cutting, Tailoring & Dress-Making, Aifa’s Dream has begun a special series of Art & Crafts Workshops for selected students of Gemanafushi School.
These young learners will explore creative skills such as Coffee Art, Line Art, and decorative craft-making β€” including flowers and dress embellishments β€” giving them the chance to experience hands-on creativity and artistic expression. 🎨🧡🌺
The workshops began on 28th October and will continue over the coming days, offering students a fun, skill-building experience outside the classroom.
This program is endorsed and supported by the Gemanafushi Women's Development Committee and proudly supported by Gemanafushi School, working together to inspire creativity and confidence in the next generation. 🌿

πŸ‘—βœ¨ Course 101 Update β€” Final Phase Underway! ✨🧡
The participants of Course 101: Cutting, Tailoring & Dress-Making at GA. Gemanafushi have now completed the traditional Dhiguhedhun and are working on their final assignments as the course moves into its final days.
Over the past weeks, they have gained hands-on experience in measuring, cutting, and stitching, while learning to create multiple garment designs β€” including dresses, shirts, kurutas, formal wear, decorative and the iconic Dhiguhedhun.
In the remaining days of the program, they will be learning to design and stitch trousers / shorts, adding more versatility and skill to their tailoring experience. 🌸
This course has been endorsed and supported by the Gemanafushi Women's Development Committee, whose continued dedication is helping create real opportunities for women through skill-based learning and empowerment.
πŸŽ“ The Certification Ceremony will be held on 11th November 2025, where participants will proudly showcase their completed works.

The participants of Aifa’s Dream Course 101 in Maakurathu are mastering some of the most treasured skills of our culture – sewing the traditional Dhivehi Hedhun and the cultural Dhivehi Libaas. πŸ‘—πŸŒΊ
With hands-on guidance from our expert instructor, they are learning every step of the craft β€” from measuring to tailoring and stitching these valuable dresses with precision and care. πŸ§΅βœ‚οΈ
Now, as their skills advance, participants are also moving on to sew shirts and Kurtas, broadening their abilities in both traditional and formal wear. πŸ‘•βœ¨
