We are excited to share that the Orientation Session for Course 103 was successfully held last night at Sh. Kanditheemu. 🌸
This course will take them from the basics to advanced techniques, building creativity, skill, and confidence every step of the way. 💫
From tonight onwards, our talented learners will begin their very first class — stepping into the beautiful world of embroidery, beadwork, ribbon work, and more. 🧵✨
Stay connected with us as we showcase their progress and celebrate the art of Hand Embroidery & Decorative Crafts. 🌺

✨ Course 101 Progress – Maakurathu ✨
The participants of Aifa’s Dream Course 101 in Maakurathu are mastering some of the most treasured skills of our culture – sewing the traditional Dhivehi Hedhun and the cultural Dhivehi Libaas. 👗🌺
With hands-on guidance from our expert instructor, they are learning every step of the craft — from measuring to tailoring and stitching these valuable dresses with precision and care. 🧵✂️
Now, as their skills advance, participants are also moving on to sew shirts and Kurtas, broadening their abilities in both traditional and formal wear. 👕✨
This program, endorsed and supported by WDC Maakurathu, continues to empower women with timeless skills that preserve tradition while opening new opportunities for the future. 💜

Last night (12/08/2025), we inaugurated the 19th Edition of Cutting, Tailoring & Dress-making Course 101 in R. Maakurathu, proudly endorsed by the Maakurathu Women’s Development Committee.
We are especially excited to have students of Maakurathu School in our Foundation Workshops & Art & Crafts, nurturing future talent and inspiring the next generation. 🎨✨
