As part of the ongoing orientation on strengthening the health sector response to gender-based violence, the Ministry of Health continues to engage healthcare providers from across the atolls through orientation sessions held in collaboration with key stakeholders.

Today’s sessions, conducted online with over 200 participants, are facilitated by Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Family Protection Authority (FPA), Ministry of Social and Family Development, Maldives Police Service, Prosecutor General’s Office and the National Mental Health Department of MoH, reinforcing a coordinated, survivor-centered national response across sectors.
