Today, NMHD and World Health Organization Maldives met with the visiting National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), India team as they begin their scoping visit to the Maldives ahead of the De-Escalation Training for healthcare professionals and non-specialists. This visit gives the NIMHANS trainers the chance to engage with key stakeholders, understand current needs and on-ground practices, and align planning and expectations for the training planned for early 2026.
