Old Mutual (Malawi) Limited is delighted to announce the appointment of Ms. Linda Poya as General Manager of Mthunzi Funeral Services Company effective 14 July 2025.

Linda is a vibrant achiever with a wealth of experience in the financial services industry, having successfully served in managerial and executive positions for over 20 years. In her most recent role, Linda served as the Group Customer Experience Executive for Old Mutual (Malawi) Limited, leading the transformation of the function to a centralized customer servicing team in Malawi

The Board and Management of Old Mutual (Malawi) Limited wish Linda all the best in her new role and is confident that her dedication to excellence will lead to her success in Mthunzi Funeral Services.

The Old Mutual ( Malawi) Limited Group of Companies, Board of Directors, Management and Staff convey our sympathies and condolences to the Kapanga family on the passing of their loved one, Mr. Christopher Kapanga.

Mr. Christopher Kapanga held leading roles as CEO in Old Mutual West Africa, Old Mutual Ghana and Old Mutual Malawi. He also served as Board Director of MPICO plc, a member of the Old Mutual Group.

He was a valuable leader and contributed to business growth of the companies in Malawi and beyond. He will be missed.
