1. The Honeymoon Stage
In the honeymoon stage, everything flows effortlessly. There’s no forcing, no second-guessing. You feel like you’ve found your perfect match, your soul mate. Everything seems beautiful, and time together feels enchanting. You start to imagine a future together, dreaming up shared adventures. It’s a period of pure joy because you’ve found each other, and it feels like nothing could go wrong.
2. The Testing Stage
The second stage is the testing phase, where reality settles in. The initial spark isn’t as intense, and that rush of excitement begins to fade. The mask drops, and you see each other’s true selves—quirks, habits, imperfections, and all. It’s not that you don’t love each other anymore, but now you’re seeing the full picture. Doubts creep in, misunderstandings arise, and sometimes you wonder if love is still there, as disagreements test your bond.
3. The Give-In or Give-Up Stage
This stage is the hardest—it’s the “make or break” point. Fights over small things become common, insecurities grow, and disagreements feel heavier. You’re at a crossroads where leaving might seem easier than staying. Intimacy is strained, and love feels distant. For many, this is the breaking point, where temptation for a fresh connection becomes strong. It’s where maturity and resilience are tested. Only those willing to work hard and dig deep survive this stage.
4. The Winning Stage
In the winning stage, acceptance prevails. You both recognize that you’re different, flawed individuals, but you choose each other anyway. You value your commitment over fleeting feelings and find strength in your bond. Many couples don’t reach this stage, often marrying too soon, mistaking the honeymoon for forever. But those who make it here know that real love is choosing each other, imperfections and all, even on the hard days. They understand that love isn’t just found—it’s built, every day, together.....
