Our third episode of the 'Get to Know Your Favourite Specialty' series featured Dr. Ken-Keller Kumwenda, one of the only neurosurgeons in Malawi. 🧠✨ His story of breaking into a specialty that barely existed when he started his training was incredibly inspiring and very motivating indeed. As a consultant neurosurgeon at Kamuzu Central Hospital and head of neurosurgery at the Lilongwe Institute of Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery, his journey is a testament to resilience, discipline, and determination.

Dr. Kumwenda reminded us that if we came this far, then we certainly can go farthar and achieve all we want if we stay focused and disciplined. He also spoke about the importance of family and how grateful he is for their support throughout his journey. His message really resonated with us, reminding us that no matter how tough the path, we can always rise above and have our loved ones to support us too. 🌟

We’re beyond grateful for his wisdom and motivation.

On to the next specialty! Stay tuned for more🚀
