Advancing Youth Health & Igniting Bright Futures!
In our continued commitment to uplifting young people and sparking positive change within our communities, yesterday we held dynamic group discussions centered on PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) a vital strategy in HIV prevention. The session was skillfully led by one of our dedicated Youth Community-Based Distribution Agents (YCBDA), Asam Draft, who guided participants through meaningful and eye-opening conversations.
Following this, we hosted critical reflection sessions to review the recent visit by Newa's Youth-Friendly Health Services team on June 7, 2025. During that visit, we engaged in various collaborative activities with fellow youths learning, sharing, and growing together.
Our review focused on the valuable experiences and skills gained, and the incredible milestones we've achieved in advocating for youth health and rights. Together, we are challenging and dismantling harmful cultural practices that put young people at risk, including early marriages, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), early pregnancies, and other barriers to a healthy future.
This is more than just a program, it’s a movement to empower, protect, and elevate our generation. Let’s keep pushing forward, united by purpose and powered by hope.
