This intervention captures the essence of youth-friendly care, empowering us to take control of our sexual health journey in a supportive and welcoming environment. Bringing laughter and hope to the darkest times: In a remarkable moment of resilience and strength, Ethel Kasiya found joy amidst adversity as she accessed HIV testing services at Shukran Orphanage. Following the destruction caused by Cyclone Freddy, this picture captures the collaborative efforts of the USAID-funded project, EMPOWER, the Ministry of Health, and partners of the DREAMS initiative. Together, they responded to the pressing need for HIV services and essential health commodities, such as condoms and family planning, in the camps where victims of Cyclone Freddy found shelter. This heartwarming image symbolizes the power of healthcare to bring laughter and hope, even during the most challenging circumstances.
