Raise your hand if getting up extra early every morning sounds absolutely insane. 🙋‍♀️

I used to think that, too.

Then, I began to read and learn how many super successful and productive people get up early to do things like:

🧘‍♀️Meditate
🏋️Workout
📝 Journal
☑️Plan your day

These are things that has taken a bit of time to truly embrace, and now they are all things I do in a regular basis.

It’s mind-boggling to me that there are so many things that I never had modeled for me and I used to think were nuts, and now I fully embrace them.

Hi all!

So, this page is going through a slight rebranding. Here is the details:

I'm still all about all things health, wellness and fitness, but I'm just as passionate (or maybe even a little more so) about having a healthy and positive mindset. And I feel they all correlate with the others.

I've started an online school called "The Fierce Woman Academy" that will revolve around learning or relearning how to set goals and work towards them, boost confidence, attract the levels of abundance we want and how to live the best lives we can live.

I will still share about fitness, healthy food and healthy mindset here, and will be more consistent with when and how I post.

I CREATED A SALAD RECIPE BOOK!!!

I named it "Salads That Don't Suck" because I was in a serious salad rut. So I decided to create this to help me get out of that rut, and I'm guessing there are others of you out there who find yourself in that same place every once in awhile.

Choose your hard.

Many things in our lives is hard in one way or another.

Working out is hard. Not working out is hard.

Working for yourself and bringing income in on your own terms is hard. Working for a company that only sees you as a warm body to bring in $$ for their top people without giving you anything back is hard.

Being in a relationship is hard. Being single is hard.

Eating healthy, more expensive food is hard. Eating crappy, cheap food is hard.

The thing is, when deciding which hard to choose, always work towards choosing the hard that will make your life and the life for those you love BETTER in the next few days, weeks, months and years.

Taking even the smallest action can get the ball rolling and every day you stick with it, you gain more inertia and before too long, your life will look significantly different, in a good way.

You know, it's that time of the year when the buzz of the New Year has started to fade. You might find yourself cozying up in your warm bed, hitting snooze a few too many times, and those well-intended resolutions? Well, they might feel like they're on thin ice. But hey, it's not just you. It's a lot of us. We all start the year with a gym membership or a salad bowl in hand, ready to conquer the world. Then life happens; it's cold, it's dark, and the couch or bed has never been more inviting.

But here's the thing - those goals you set? They matter, and they're still within reach. You are the ultimate game-changer in your life. No one else can make those choices for you. You're the one who can lace up those sneakers, choose a salad over that tempting junk food, and focus on the positivity that surrounds you, even when it's hidden behind clouds.

The Myth of Motivation

There's this myth about motivation – that it's the starting whistle for any action. But let's get real. Motivation is more like a fickle friend; it's there for you sometimes, and other times, not so much. Waiting for motivation to strike might leave you waiting forever. The secret? Just start moving. Welcome to Real Talk Thursday, where we peel back the layers and dive deep into the real stuff. So, grab your truth goggles, and let's get real about why our goals might be playing hide and seek with us as the year wraps up.

Picture this: you set those goals on January 1st, and now, they're giving you the silent treatment. What gives? Are they on vacation or what?

Maybe, just maybe, we've been pulling a Houdini on ourselves.
It's like we're in a game of "Underestimate the Potential Badassery." We're like, "Oh, I can't do that" or "I'm not good enough."

Well, spoiler alert: you are a powerhouse. It's time to strut your stuff, my friend!

Excuse parade, anyone? 🎭 We're masters at hiding behind these fancy masks labeled "reasons."

But, truth bomb, they're just dressed-up excuses.

Now, before you start thinking, "Who invited the reality check?" – don't fret! We're not here to rain on the parade. We're here to grab that parade and turn it into a victory march!

So, what's the game plan? Are we throwing in the towel and waiting for January 1st to hit the reset button? Heck no! We've got over four weeks left, and we're not tapping out.

Ever seen those sports miracles where a team claws back from the brink of defeat? It's like they're saying, "Hold my sports drink; I've got this."

Well, guess what? We can have our own comeback story!

Here's your playbook for the next four weeks:

1. Break It Down, Smarty Pants: �Take those big, scary goals and shrink 'em. Make your brain go, "Oh yeah, I got this!" It's all about the baby steps.�
2. Unleash Your Inner Badass: �Stop selling yourself short. You're not just a badass; you're a strong, capable badass. Celebrate those small wins—they're like stepping stones to greatness.�
3. Time is on Your Side: �Commit to a daily or weekly dose of goal-chasing. You deserve this time, and you've got the mojo to make it happen.�
4. Learn, Don't Lounge: �Sure, knowledge is power, but too much thinking can turn you into a statue. Find a plan, grab it, and sprint. Tweak on the go, but the key is to start.�
5. Tag, You're It: �Grab a buddy! Accountability partners are like superheroes without capes. Find your dynamic duo or join a squad. Kick butt and take names together.

Now, here's the deal:

Here is something sad but oh-so-true:

*Humans seem to have forgotten how to be good to one another. *

-From people who work with customers who forget that there is a full-ass human being with feelings that they are berating because something didn’t go their way (and chances are the human being berated has nothing to do with the company's rules).

-To big corporations who continually 💩on their managers to the point where said managers give up and just walk out.

-To the driver's road raging at other drivers because they aren’t disobeying traffic laws which inconveniences you, so you scream, yell, drive erratically, or just become a complete ass to someone you don't even know, out there just living their life.

-To the jerks who go on others' social media posts to comment terrible and crappy things instead of just scrolling by.

-To the politicians and lawmakers who seem to think they get full say on how we live our everyday lives, just going about our business, not bothering anyone.

The US and the world as a whole have gone batsh*t crazy.

I don’t have any real, concrete answers, but here are some things those of us who are sick, tired, and sad about this current version of humanity can try doing:

1. Stop being rude and disrespectful to people who are simply doing their job and have no way of fixing many issues that are way above their pay grade.

2. Stop working for companies who clearly don’t care about the humans they have doing the daily grunt work so they can continue pocketing hundreds of thousands or more dollars off of your effort.

3. Start finding ways to fill your soul by doing things that you love and bring you joy. Find ways to make some money doing those things as well, so you can find a way out of the previous two points above.

4. Be kind to humans out in the world. Let them in in traffic. Hold a door open. Smile. Offer to take the grocery cart for them. Compliment people you love or strangers you come in contact with throughout the day. Scroll past those posts you don’t like or agree with. Vote for people who are working towards making life better for all instead of those who are trying to put up more roadblocks to hold us back. Just find simple ways to be a kind, loving human.

Will any of this change anything overnight? No, it won’t.

But what can change overnight is how YOU feel about and treat others, and one by one, inch by inch, progress CAN BE MADE.

It starts with changing one heart and mind at a time, and it begins with changing yours first.

HOW TO START YOUR DAY OFF WITH SUCCESS

If there is one thing I can emphasize to anyone of you to find happiness, success and less stress in life is to start your day off in a successful way.

Here are some of the simplest and quickest ways to get this ball rolling:

STEP ONE:
Start the night before: Make a list for tomorrow. Make lunches, coffee, anything to save time. Lay out clothes you will wear. And work towards getting to bed at a decent time & get a good nights sleep.

STEP TWO:
Get up as soon as your alarm goes off. No more hitting the snooze button. Then get out of bed so you won’t be inclined to doze back off.

STEP THREE:
Pick at least one of these things to do right after you get out of bed:
•Read something inspiring
•Exercise
•Journal
•Meditate

As women, we are often expected to follow a certain path in life. We are supposed to go to college, get a job, find a partner, get married, have children, and raise a family. But what if this path doesn't work for you? What if you want something different for your life? It's time to start making your own decisions, living life on your own terms, and taking chances, even when you are scared.

Making Your Own Decisions

Making your own decisions can be scary, especially when you're used to following someone else's lead. But it's important to remember that this is your life, and you are the one who knows what's best for you. You are the only one who can honestly know your wants, needs, and goals. So start making your own decisions and taking control of your life. I promise it can be done!

When it comes to making decisions about your income, it's important to remember that there are many different paths you can take. You don't have to follow the traditional path of getting a job and working for someone else. Or, you can start your own business, work as a freelancer, or even create passive income streams in a number of ways.

The key is to find something you're passionate about that will allow you to live the life you want.

Living Life on Your Own Terms

Living life on your own terms means living a life that is true to who you are.

It means doing the things that make you happy and fulfilled, even if they go against societal norms.

It means taking risks and following your dreams, even if you're scared.

One of the biggest hurdles to living life on your own terms is the fear of what others will think. We often worry about what our friends, family, and society will think if we don't follow the traditional path.

But it's important to remember that this is your life, not theirs.

You have to live with your decisions, so make sure they are decisions that make you happy and fulfilled.
