A few days ago, I was fortunate to learn from Dr. Dennis Hammond, one of the world’s most experienced plastic surgeons in breast surgery and a book author who has described many techniques still in use today. He opened the doors of his beautiful clinic to us; any moment was good for teaching us. He taught us his main techniques during live surgery. Dr. Hammond is a master in every sense of the word. We learned a lot about aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery. But we not only learned about medicine, but he also taught us a few things about his hobbies and how wonderful Grand Rapids, Michigan, is. It’s a pleasure to meet plastic surgeons with such empathy and a vocation for teaching. Thank you, Dr. Hammond, for all your attention. I hope to see you again soon in Mexico.
