Meet Krystian, a musician, YouTuber, and SONNET 2 user from Poland. He experienced sudden hearing loss in one ear in 2018 and decided to get a CI.

Today, his YouTube channel is a source of information for cochlear implant users worldwide. In his videos, Krystian compares his CI hearing with his natural hearing, shares insights on the devices that help him hear throughout the day, and discusses the rehab activities that improved his hearing.

The clinical utility of rotary chair testing in young children 🚀

Early detection of dysfunction in infants and young children is a vitally important element in providing appropriate support and onward referral to appropriate professionals for management.

If infants with vestibular dysfunction are identified earlier, intervention and appropriate management strategies can be put in place to improve their development of strategies and reduce the impact on the acquisition of their motor skills.

In this eWorkshop, Dr. Kristen Janky, Au.D., Ph.D., CCC-A will investigate the clinical utility of rotary chair testing in young children from six months to five years of age.

By the end, you’ll be able to:

✅ Identify children who are at risk for vestibular dysfunction and candidates for vestibular testing
✅ Classify rotary chair findings as normal vs central vs peripheral (unilateral and bilateral vestibular dysfunction)
✅ Describe factors that can affect rotary chair acquisition
