// Where we direct our attention directly affects the life we live and the reality we perceive.
Focus and concentration are a key component of our yoga practice. In essence it's what we are working towards.
This complete unwavering focus and absorption into oneness.
But this not just applies to yoga. It applies across our lives and what we do.
How can we begin to further implement the focus practices of yoga to live a life that is more fulfilling and fuelled towards our nature?
Like anything it's a practice. We need to learn how to catch ourselves as the mind wanders.
When we can actively begin to shift out awareness and focus back to what's important to us we can really begin to feel fulfilled in what we are doing.
We become engulfed and the sense of everything else fades out. Just as when we are on the mat, the rest of the world disappears.
No work, no s**t, no chaos, just you, the movement, and your breath.
Complete dynamic stillness and oneness where nothing else matters.
The more we can begin to find it in our yoga practice the more we can feed it in our day to day life helping us to maintain that connection to ourselves and feed our energy and time into what is important to us.
Our perception and focus directly alters and determines our reality. So therefore shouldn't we invest our focus and energy into what we value and hold important?
So, let me ask you this: how are you spending your time?
Are you investing your time into what's important, and if not what will you change today to begin to do so?
