So …. This is Me coming home on the train from London after hosting a Woman’s Menopausal Empowerment Workshop where I was asked to share my experience on anti-aging and the Menopause.

For those of You who are not familiar with what I do, I coach & mentor woman to look and feel Amazing.
As a Holistic Wellness Specialist & Nutritional Therapist my job is to empower woman to create healthy choices in all areas of their lives. This includes relationships with themselves and others, with food, work, fitness, environment and mental and physical health.

I am going to be 60 years young in just a few days and I have used nutrition as a primary source of my health care.
Yup I eat chocolate and drink coffee and sometimes rice pudding!
But I also drink 4lts of water daily,
I Use Isagenix Nourish for Life and Ionix Supreme most days and do at least one Cleanse Day every 2 weeks.
Tritotic, Collagen Elixir and Protein shakes all from Isagenix feature during the week.
Protein pacing and intermittent fasting are my routine. I eat in season and use local honey and natural remedies when I feel a little run down or have been traveling.

Exercise is very important to me, so I walk as much as possible, yoga at least 4x per week and resistance training with Pilates thrown in.
This has been every day recently as I set myself the challenge of the last 30 days of my 50s to be in the best shape possible ( I even gave up rice pudding 😂)
Im the same weight now that I was at 17 years old.

Daily Meditation, Gratitude, counting my blessings and living in nature a must.
Of course the Love of family and friends combined with what I listen too, put on my skin, (I love the Isagenix skincare btw and my bathroom looks like Space NK! )

Equally, what I put in my mind and choose to listen to is essential and of course sleep and fresh air all feature on my “Have too “ list.
I could go on as this is just a little insight. But the point is I practice what I teach and live by it.

Day 10 of our 2024 Detox

Helpful Guide from my group My Body My Life FB group.

Going on a Cleanse Day or Fasting is one thing…. Re-introducing food is also just as important.
So here is my recipe with love, one we are also doing today on our Retreat in Cyprus 🇨🇾
Enjoy ☺️

This is my super recipe following a Cleanse Day.

1 x fresh orange
1/2 papaya with a few seeds
1x small banana
1/2 apple
Squeeze of lime juice
1/2tsp local honey

Simply chop up the fruit and drizzle with lime juice and honey.

Benefits: This will give you energy, boost your immune system with vitamins whilst the papaya seeds clean your digestive tract and remove harmful bacteria, restoring gut health.

Drink hot water with fresh mint to soothe your digestive system and reduce inflammation.

Day 7 of our 2024 Detox. Or is it?…

Whether it’s day 1 or 7 for You, it doesn’t really matter.
It’s the day You decide what matters to and for You.

As a Coach I find many of my clients struggling on a Monday, the expectations seem so high, the issues heightened by desire and lack of focus. The weekend that didn’t go well or as planned when temptation was too great.

Whether it was a win or not for you, in your mind or a fact.
Let go of all of it…. You can start again, You can continue or you can quit now.
Choice is a beautiful thing 🙏🏻
It’s part of being human, being alive and realising your truth and what’s important and making you happy.
I am here to help anyone who wants to align themselves with their truth, health, happiness and also acknowledging the pain and how it’s affecting their choices.

You maybe in this group watching, waiting for your turn to feel great about yourself and not feeling good enough to ask questions or for help.
You may feel fantastic and on track and I honour You for that.
I understand and I appreciate that feeling of excitement or frustration on a Monday morning…

So please don’t hesitate if you’re feeling anxious or upset about it being day 7!
It can be your day 1, your new beginning and a fresh new start, new perspective and new focus.

Equally, I’m cheering 📣 if it’s going well and in alignment with your goals.

The Holiday Hermit of Harmonyville

In Harmonyville, a town buzzing with festive preparations and gatherings, there lived a character everyone called "The Holiday Hermit." Unlike the rest of the town, Henry, the so-called Hermit, chose to spend the holidays alone.

Rumors swirled about Henry's solitude. "Poor Henry, all alone during the holidays," people would sigh, pitying what they assumed was a lonely existence.

But Henry's reality was far different. An avid reader of "Be You Unleashed," he saw the holiday solitude not as a sentence, but as a season of self-discovery and rejuvenation. While others rushed in a festive frenzy, Henry embarked on a journey inward.

He transformed his home into a personal retreat, filled with books, music, and art supplies. Each day, he indulged in activities that nourished his soul – from painting and reading to meditating and cooking his favorite meals.

As the town celebrated in a traditional flurry, Henry celebrated in his own way. He wrote a letter to his future self, outlining his dreams and aspirations for the coming year. He reflected on the past year's experiences, extracting lessons and gratitude from both joys and challenges.

Word of Henry's unconventional holiday eventually spread, and it sparked curiosity. A few townsfolk, inspired by Henry's approach, decided to take a day off from the celebrations to spend in solitude. To their surprise, they found the experience refreshing and enlightening.

The following year, Harmonyville experienced a new holiday tradition. Alongside the usual festivities, many residents now set aside time for solitude, naming it "The Hermit's Day" in honor of Henry. It was a day for self-reflection, creativity, and planning for the future.

Henry, once seen as an oddity, became a sage of sorts. His choice of solitude during the holidays was now seen as a wise and empowering practice – a way to recharge, refocus, and enter the new year with clarity and purpose.

The moral? Being alone, especially during times of societal pressure, can be a powerful choice. It offers a unique opportunity to reconnect with oneself, realign with one's goals, and emerge refreshed and ready for new beginnings.
