The last two weeks have been pure magic. ✨

With a bit of planning and a lot of love and surrender, I managed to:

💖 Turn 30.
💖 Gather all of my favorite people in one place to celebrate amongst locally grown flowers and glittery gems.
💖 Move to Tahoe.
💖 Go to Burning Man for a whirlwind 72 hrs.

The 3 main lessons?

✨ 1) Partying is underrated and hugely valuable.
Seriously. We so often hear “they party too much. Time to be an adult. Work harder. Do more. Be more.”
For some, partying can be escapism.
But to me, partying is PLAY. It’s connection. It’s tapping into levity, lightness, expression, dance and joy. It takes emotional sophistication and awareness—the ability to release worries, anxieties, fears, egoic stories and efforts to prove—in order to experience freedom, joy, connection, inspiration and laughter. To chase desire instead of accolades.

✨ 2) If it ain’t playa dust, it’s MOOP, aka garbage, pollution, clutter. Us included. We’re here for a bit and then return to dust, or dirt or soil or snow. If we leave anything behind, let it be magic✨

✨3) Magic is created by people. Even when we create beautiful art, it doesn’t come to life until it is experienced by a fellow human.

This is just the first two weeks of 30. I can’t wait for all the other lessons in store.

For now, feeling all the love and gratitude 💕✨

Looking back on my flower power birthday weekend with a heart so full of love and gratitude for the magic that was created and all of the energy that every single person brought ✨🌸

My friend asked me what my hopes and intentions were for the weekend, and after a few planning hiccups, I decided I just wanted to let it unfold, like a flower, into whatever beauty it was meant to be.

And boy did it exceed any expectations or dreams.

Thank you thank you thank to everyone.

Helloo my loves!

I’m back.

After 2 continents, 3 weddings, red cliffs on the shores of Cassis, safaris in the Africa bush, sailing Croatian seas, climbing and flying in the Alps, I can think of no better place to start with than home.

They say home is where the heart is. And Tahoe, my close people and my baby monster wolf have my heart.

But so do the many friends and places that I’ve connected with over the last two months.

Traveling has always had a beautiful way of bringing me back home—not to a place, but to an energy, a pace.

Home is the inner knowing that you’re on the right path, that if you follow your dreams fearlessly, you’ll end up where you want to be.

Home is our deepest desires—the ones that light you up and lift you up so much that you feel certain you can soar over any obstacles with ease.

Home is our beautiful bodies, our unique energy and our fierce autonomy, that laws can’t touch.

Home is that spark of joy you feel when you’ve accomplished something or done something that you really wanted to do—even if that something is doing absolutely nothing on a leisurely summer day.

Home is living your life for YOU—not for other’s opinions, accolades, judgments, policies or perspectives.

Home is security, certainty, calm, peace, pleasure and joy.

Over the the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing some of the lessons on my journey that brought me back home in the hopes they may inspire you to feel at home—in your body, your life, your dreams and desires.

The world is a wacky place right now.

But I promise, if you come back to YOU, there is still so much beauty to be found, joy to be felt, personal power and freedom.

If you don’t feel that, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to listen, to hold space, to open up my home to those from less forgiving states.

If my friends and family could choose one word to describe me, they’d pick ɪɴᴅᴇᴄɪꜱɪᴠᴇ.

And that would be 𝕒𝕔𝕔𝕦𝕣𝕒𝕥𝕖 for my teenage and young adult life.

At a restaurant, I’d change my mind five times before ordering food.

When it came to making plans with friends, I’d say 𝔂𝓮𝓼, then 𝐍𝐎, then 𝕤𝕙𝕠𝕨 𝕦𝕡 𝟙𝟝 𝕞𝕚𝕟𝕦𝕥𝕖𝕤 𝕝𝕒𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕚𝕟 𝕞𝕪 𝕠𝕨𝕟 𝕔𝕒𝕣. 🥴

When it came to major life decisions like choosing a college, internship or job I would seek out 𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕣𝕪𝕠𝕟𝕖 𝕖𝕝𝕤𝕖’s opinion 𝕓𝕖𝕗𝕠𝕣𝕖 𝕗𝕖𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕚𝕟𝕥𝕠 𝕞𝕪 𝕠𝕨𝕟.

I didn’t trust my feelings, so I let my mind run the show.

Boy would it take off running.

💭 𝕎𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕞𝕪 𝕗𝕣𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕕𝕤 𝕓𝕖 𝕞𝕒𝕕 𝕚𝕗 𝕀 𝕕𝕠𝕟’𝕥 𝕤𝕒𝕪 𝕪𝕖𝕤 𝕥𝕠 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕡𝕝𝕒𝕟?
💭 𝕎𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕚𝕗 𝕀 𝕠𝕣𝕕𝕖𝕣 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕗𝕠𝕠𝕕 𝕠𝕣 𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕞𝕚𝕥 𝕥𝕠 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕡𝕝𝕒𝕟 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕖𝕟𝕕 𝕦𝕡 𝕗𝕖𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕝𝕚𝕜𝕖 𝕀 𝕞𝕚𝕤𝕤𝕖𝕕 𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕠𝕟 𝕒𝕟𝕠𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣?
💭 𝕎𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕚𝕗 𝕀 𝕞𝕒𝕜𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕎𝕣𝕠𝕟𝕘 ℂ𝕙𝕠𝕚𝕔𝕖?
💭 𝕎𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕞𝕪 𝕔𝕠𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕒𝕘𝕦𝕖𝕤 𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕡𝕖𝕔𝕥 𝕞𝕖? 𝕎𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕞𝕪 𝕗𝕒𝕞𝕚𝕝𝕪 𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕝𝕝 𝕝𝕠𝕧𝕖 𝕞𝕖?

I looked outward for answers, which left me feeling:

😣 Unsatisfied
😣 Depressed
😣 Burnout
😣 Overwhelmed

I sought 𝕕𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕣𝕒𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 𝕗𝕣𝕠𝕞 𝕕𝕚𝕤𝕔𝕠𝕞𝕗𝕠𝕣𝕥 through screen addiction, drinking and running myself to exhaustion.

That is until I found yoga.

Yoga taught me how to:
🌸 𝒬𝓊𝒾𝑒𝓉 𝓂𝓎 𝓂𝒾𝓃𝒹 and tune into my heart
🌸 𝒞𝓁𝑒𝒶𝓇 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒹𝒾𝓈𝓉𝓇𝒶𝒸𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃𝓈 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒻𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓈 that made me feel stuck
🌸 Look internally for answers
🌸 𝒜𝓌𝒶𝓀𝑒𝓃 𝓂𝓎 𝐼𝓃𝓉𝓊𝒾𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃
🌸 Unlock my Confidence
🌸 𝐿𝒾𝓋𝑒 𝒶 𝐿𝒾𝒻𝑒 𝒜𝓁𝒾𝑔𝓃𝑒𝒹 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽 𝓂𝓎 𝒟𝑒𝓈𝒾𝓇𝑒𝓈, and not anybody’s else’s.

The truth is, we know exactly what we want.

It’s hidden beneath layers of people pleasing, conditioning and unconscious beliefs, fears and blocks.

Hey, you! I see you. 👋🏼

If this year didn’t start out with the bang you intended, I see you.

If you’re feeling sick, unwell or just not your best, I see you.

If you had all of the new year’s resolutions and plans but didn’t have the energy, bandwidth or physical ability to tackle them the first week of the year, I see you.

If you’ve been working on your mindset, lightness and joy, but things are still feeling heavy, I see you.

If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed or out of control of your day-to-day life, I see you.

If you don’t know how to make space in your day for rest or to nurture yourself, I see you.

I see you. I feel you. It’s okay.

I’ve felt what you’re feeling.
I’ve had the days (sometimes weeks and months) where it felt impossible to find joy, lightness and gratitude.

I’ve had many a moments of realizing I needed to be healthier, to set better boundaries at work or in life and carve out time for me, but not known how.

I see you. I feel you. I’ve been you.

I still have moments like those, but they’re fewer and far between because I also have tools.

☀️ To stop the racing mind from spinning me into anxiety and overwhelm.
☀️ To bring space and intention to every day so I get to CREATE the vibe for each day, instead of feeling like a victim of my boss’s or lover’s mood swings✨
☀️ To replenish my vital energy centers, heal past traumas so I can ditch the heavy and feel Light, Bright and Inspired every day.
☀️ To balance my chakras using the Ancient Wisdom of yoga philosophy and movement.

Find yourself something to be grateful for.
