Sleep is essential for us to go about our everyday lives. It affects our physical, mental and emotional health which impacts every aspect of our lives. Regardless of its importance, a great percentage of people are finding themselves sleep deprived and significantly drowsy throughout the day.

With a vast range of reasons, causes and diagnosis’, researchers and sleep experts are finding habitual solutions to resolving these challenges to improve sleep quality and promote better rest.

As with anything habit related, it’s best if that we start small and gradually build our way to more changes.

The Sleep Foundation breaks down these sleep hygiene improvements into four categories:

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity."

It’s so important for us to create mindfulness practices to keep our mindsets in a healthy mental state. With everything that happens in our fast-paced lives, it can be easy to overlook the little (and even the big) things that really make life so much better for us especially when we are going through tough times.

Therefore, we invite you take a moment today and reflect on some of the positives in your life and then express them vocally or through journaling. After doing so, we encourage you to make it a ritual to keep the feel-good energy flowing. AKA habit! ✨

We like to practice gratitude first thing in the morning to get our days moving on the right track.

Self love is the best love. It’s the key ingredient to living a happy, fulfilling life. When we prioritize self love, we don’t just better our lives, we are able to better love and serve our loved ones and the people we surround.

How do we work on this?
Practice, commitment and consistency.

Just like any habit we must stay dedicated and commit to it every moment of every day. It’s a choice. When we are aware of these choices and act deliberately, we set ourselves up for success.

This is where we transform and watch the magic of life really reveal itself to us.
