Dr. Ng Guan F**k completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S) from University of Malaya in 2003. He had worked as an Eye Medical Officer in several eye departments (Sungai Petani, Hospital Sultan Abdul Halim, Universiti Sains Malaysia and Penang General Hospital). He was conferred the Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) by Universiti Sains Malaysia and was an Ophthalmologist

in Penang and Sultanah Bahiyah General Hospital. He was also the first Head of Department and Consultant Ophthalmologist in Hospital Kulim. During his career as an Ophthalmologist, he was awarded Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang, APAO/Korean Ophthalmological Society Travel Grant, Universiti Sains Malaysia Gold Medal Award for the Best Master Medicine Student and the Fellow of Alumni of Universiti Sains Malaysia. He is also involves in charity eye screening and surgery in Malaysia and overseas. We specialise in:

As emphasized, "Screening is only the first step; facing and acting on it leads to true health."
The purpose of these screenings is to open the door for further conversation about health and provide people with information they may not have had access to otherwise.

If any participant has health concern, it's advisable to follow up with a healthcare professional for a comprehensive assessment.

We are pleased to announce that our eye clinic will be participating in a Free Eye Check-Up and Screening Program in collaboration with One Hope Charity & Welfare Organization.

Date: 17th & 18th May 2025 (Saturday & Sunday)
Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Venue: PICCA Convention Centre @ Butterworth Arena

Our team of dedicated ophthalmologists and clinic staff will be present throughout the event to provide comprehensive eye screening services to the public — completely FREE of charge.

Please note:

Our clinic will be closed on 17th and 18th May 2025 as all our doctors and staff will be involved in this community outreach event.

We warmly invite everyone to take this opportunity for a free eye health check. No prior registration is required. Just walk in!

We recently had the privilege of helping a 32-year-old mechanic who sustained a traumatic cataract in his right eye after being accidentally struck by a wooden stick a month ago. Before surgery, his vision was limited to counting fingers, significantly affecting his daily activities.

After performing cataract surgery, his vision has improved to 6/9, bringing back clarity and quality to his life.

We are grateful for the opportunity to assist in his healing journey. It’s always rewarding to see our patients regain their vision and continue to thrive.
