CONDOLENCE MESSAGE: PULAU PERHENTIAN BOAT TRAGEDY

We at Poliklinik Dr.Velu are deeply saddened by the tragic boat accident that occurred near Pulau Perhentian on 28th June 2025, which claimed the lives of three individuals and left several others injured. Among the victims were a 40-year-old father and his 3-year-old daughter from Teluk Air Tawar, Penang. Another individual also lost their life in this heartbreaking incident.

We extend our sincere condolences to all the grieving families. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this time of unimaginable loss. We also pray for a swift and complete recovery for those who were injured.

We hope the relevant authorities will carry out a thorough investigation and take necessary steps to enhance safety measures for sea transport to avoid such tragedies in the future.

May the souls of the departed rest in peace.
