Finally the wait is over. Officially a certified robotic knee surgeon.

I still remember my first exposure to robotic-assisted knee surgery back in 2024 with Dato’ Oh at Island Hospital. That experience really changed how I see knee replacement. The level of precision was something else, down to 0.5 mm and 1 degree accuracy. It is not just technology for the sake of it, but a tool that helps us position implants more accurately and consistently.

Now, we finally have this technology here at Pantai Hospital Penang.

Robotic-assisted knee replacement allows better planning before the cut, real-time feedback during surgery, and more precise ex*****on. For patients, this translates to better alignment, improved implant longevity, and potentially faster recovery.

Grateful for the journey so far, from learning, observing, to now being able to offer this to my own patients.
