Soon, everyone was singing and dancing alongโ€”even those who didnโ€™t join in were swaying and smiling from where they sat. Though he was new, he showed no hesitation in lifting the spirits of everyone in the centre. He was able to express himself freely and truly enjoyed the time he spent with us.

There were no introductions, no need for warming up; the conversation began naturally and flowed with ease. Some people say individuals living with dementia can't make friends or communicate.
